Dysfunctional Office
Nobody answers the phone, I left a voicemail requesting an appointment, the recording indicated a call back should be expected in 3-5 days. I got that call 22 days later after making an appointment with a different surgeon due to the lack of response from this office.

No response to phone calls for appointments
I would like to have the opportunity to say it was good and it was last year. However I have been trying for a month to get a follow up appointment but nobody answers the phone and I have left six messages but no-one returns my call.

Full House
Long waits, however today I needed to cancel an appointment and get another close for a Cortisone shot. I was fit in 98 days from now! They need two more Doctors. Last time , for a shot, it took me over 3 hours. I thought I was forgotten. There is not good excuse to make me wait 3 and a half months for a shot, when I get them every 3 months.

Terrible office staff
I was in the hospital from 3/3 to 3/10. Upon release I was told to follow up with Dr. cool due to complications from a dog bite. I made my appointment and drove the 45 minutes to the office at the villages hospital. I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time before being called to the window where I was immediately asked to make a payment on my bill from a week prior for the consult in the hospital. I said I was unable to make a payment at that time due to being out of work with being in the hospital and I was here to get my release. I was then told I had to pay my co pay of 40 dollars I asked to be billed and was told that was not allowed. I asked to speak to the manager. Manager was very rude, refused to give me her name or anything in writing and told me I had to make a payment from my hospital stay a week earlier I told them I never received a bill and she shoved a paper one in my face. She then threatened to call the cops and told me to leave and not come back.

Excellent Surgeon I recently had a reverse shoulder replacement, the surgery performed by Dr Cook. I went into the procedure with some trepidation, mostly caused by "horror" stories of others who had undergone similar surgeries.  My experience was nothing like theirs! When I had my first consultation with the doctor I was immediately more at ease with the thought of this surgery. He explained what the procedure would entail and what I should expect. In following appointments he had the same attitude and caring demeanor.  My surgery went well and was remarkable to me as I had less pain and trauma during my first week of recovery than I had been led to believe I would. Some of this no doubt attributed to his expert surgical team.  I would recommend Dr Cook to anyone having to undergo similar surgeries.

Saw Dr. Cook first at Tri-County & at his new practice Advanced Orthopedic Institute. 2nd opinion concurred with his, so I had Dr. Cook repair my large rotator cuff tear & smoothed out bone spurs & other repairs, which was three days ago, and I have had very little pain. His home PT orders & ice machine therapy are great! Dr. Cook, you are awesome!!! Jean B - age 62

What a kind and gentle Dr. He listened to me tell him why I was there. It wasn't minutes before he took care of my situation. I had a bad experience with a Dr. who gave me a shot I needed in my knee. I was living with the pain afraid to have another bad experience. Not so with Dr. Cook. He made me feel comfortable and it was seconds he administered the shot in me knee. He is Blessed and so was I. Thank you Dr. Cook. America needs you. Sincerely, Karen R. Parker
