Dr. Alexia Michell Moutsatsos, MD

I've been going to Dr. Moutsatsos for over 20 years. She has handled everything health crisis that I have experienced. She is caring and does not make me feel rushed. I get a complete wellness check once a year and she goes over everything on the lab reports. She listens and explains. I come in with a list and I leave feeling heard and cared for. The staff are all great and always helpful.

I recently changed doctors because my experience with her has been nothing short of negligence. I found out that my lab work from 2015 showed i had high cholesterol, doc alexia never called me and shared this info. 5 years later im learning it from a different doc via the shared lab reports in the total health database. Additionally, in March 2020 my lab reported pre-diabetes. AGAIN no mention of this from the doc. I had to learn today while visiting a different doctor. This is complete negligence and I plan to follow up!!!! She has placed me on 4 medications for high blood pressure, im 40 years young. Never required me to take any testing to find if there are underlying issues. During visits she is pleasant but rushes in and out in 10 mins flat. Every issue, she prescribes a medicine and sends you on your way. At the emd of 2019 I pleaded for an echocardiogram, she sent me to her husband and neither owed up to provided results. This level of disregard for patients long term health

She is one of the best Doctors I have ever gone to. I have been a patient of hers for many years. She is very good with hard cases such as me. She is very approachable, and leaves for plenty of time to listen.

I preface this by saying I never got a chance to meet her or use her as my dr. I was trying to set up an appointment as a new patient. It took a month to get an appointment (ok fine) but then I got not one, but two calls from the office saying they needed to reschedule me two separate times. This has never happened to me before at other practices. I couldn’t wait any longer and didn’t want to be bothered with that kind of disorganization.

She is actually listening to you. I have a lot of problems and she has helped over several visits.

She cares so much and she is willing to help . She has helped me so much, she's an excellent doctor.

Dr Moutsatsos is good if you have one problem. If you have more than one, or chronic problems, she is not good. She gives every patient 10 minutes even if she didn't cover everything. Most of the time she just refers to other doctors and the referals are bad news. She rarely tackles much on her own unless it is minor and quick.

This was my first visit but she was one of the most approachable and caring physicians I have met in decades. Her office staff is efficient, and she is warm and understanding.
