Dr. Lee is great

Worst doctor’s appointment experience
I set up an appointment with Dr Alexandria Lee for an IUD replacement. After a painful experience inserting my first IUD (done at another medical clinic), I decided to go to her at One Medical expecting high quality health care and a better experience. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. After removing my IUD and opening up my cervix (which is extremely painful!!), Dr. Lee left the room with me in a vulnerable position and in pain because she had a missing tool. After a while, Dr. Lee came back stating the tool she needed to finish my IUD insertion was missing and had me speak to the manager Paulina for a reschedule. It is infuriating knowing that Dr. lee thinks it is ok to move forward with a painful procedure without ensuring she has all the tools necessary and leaving her patient in pain mid-procedure. I was denied standard patient care, had a neglectful and traumatic experience, and now am left with the the emotional and physical burden of finding alternative birth controls.
