least informative Dr I have ever seen
So I believe I may have had a stroke and was having balance issues so I went to see her. She scheduled me for an MRI of my brain with and without dye. After the MRI I spoke to the technician to ask if he was becoming a nurse/did he have a medical degree and no he's doing neither of those things. 3 weeks later when I see Dr McBride she had a two-page packet that she was blatantly reading off of and she kept referencing 'the technician said this' or' the technician said that' and I didn't pay for the technician to be analyzing my brain scan I paid for Dr McBride. Then she pulled up my brain scan and looked at it for maybe 30 seconds, I asked questions about when the damage happened and she told me 'oh this scan can't tell you that'. Then she wanted me to go get an upper back scan with no explanation of why or what it would tell her. Based on the fact that she gave me zero information on what my condition is or could be, I feel this was a useless medical visit just making money for Optum.

Dr. McBride sent me for numerous tests, but never gave me any definitive answers. I do believe that the tests were used to finance their group! They are very expensive. I have no level of confidence in her. I never received any reassurance from her. I suggest you ask for a different neurologist in the group. Not a good experience.

A mediocre neurologist who is overconfident and highly opinionated. She interprets the tests without having an appropriate training, experience and certifications. She can be abrupt to show you that she " knows better". No compassion, no solid experience.... Try to see another neurologist if you can. Not recommended by any means..

I saw Dr. McBride as a covering doctor while my regular neurologist was on vacation. She and her staff were accommodating in getting me a same day appointment. Dr. McBride was friendly, courteous, and at the same time very professional. She gave me a very thourogh examination and ordered appropriate tests and treatment. She spent time with me during my appointment and answered all questions. She followed through with timely follow up phone calls and explained everything.

Dr. McBride took the time to be familiar with circumstances of my condition and was prepared and conversant all of the probabilities and likelihoods. Dr. McBride thoroughness was a source of comfort and the bedside manner was a further source of consolation.

Doesn't take time to listen to patients, especially if a problem worsens. Sent me for a test, test results were exactly in line with my complaints. She then said she didn't think the test was right... Problem kept worsening.. Went to another doc, EEG done by that doctor, Finally got diagnosed with complex partial seizures after a traumatic brain injury. Not the most awesome fun time of my life being told that my problems are caused by depression and medications by a doctor. Be careful with her.
