Dr. Yu was great at first, though I wish he did shots twice a week rather than just once. Then I made a major life decision and updated him about it in casual conversation, and he tried to convince me to change my mind, on a huge personal decision completely unrelated to his practice. He told me that in his opinion I had made a mistake. That was Red Flag #1. The second red flag, which made me transfer providers, was that he refused to listen to my wishes regarding my own care, and pushed a prescription on me that I routinely stated I didn't not want, and would not take (medically I was 100% clear, there was no reason for me to start meds that my body would end up depending on for normalcy). He then decided that he would not continue my treatment without me taking this drug. So I transferred providers due to him completely disrespecting my needs and wants, and blatantly ignoring my own requests as a patient.

I have been going to see Dr. Yu for years. It has always been a great experience. He listens. He keeps up to date with the right things to do. Never pushes any tests or treatments. He respects me.

He made me so comfortable sharing my experience. Didn't discount or pander to me the way that some doctors can. And it is so good to be able to see a doctor instead of a physician assistant or nurse practitioner

I never felt rushed. Hard to find that kind of doctor experience these days. I had my kiddo with me, and yet, I felt that Dr. Yu paid attention to every detail.

He really made me feel heard and I really appreciate being seen by the actual expert. In this day and age, it's so nice to be able to see a doctor instead of a physician assistant or a nurse practitioner...other clinics make it so hard to be seen by the doctor. Recommended him to all my friends.

Such a great bedside manner. He listened intently to my story and my concerns. He did not try to overtest, and his recommendations were so useful and effective.

The entire office has terrible customer service skills. Response time to refill request take a week +, wrong prescriptions called in, incorrect information given, lack of communication. I would give 0 stars and NEVER recommend this office or Dr Yu.

This man is awful! I have seen many doctors in my life, but never one as rude, condescending, and dismissive as Dr. Yu. He challenged everything I said, acted like I was making things up or lying. I don’t know what his trip is other than he seems to enjoy being a total jerk and making himself feel superior. He told me not to get my labs done at an Adventist facility because they always mess it up. Who does this little man think he is?

Dr. Yu was awful. He wouldn't listen to anything I said. He seemed to have his mind made up before he even saw me. He basically said that everything Dr. Bilstrom had said was wrong. He belittled me and made me feel like I was totally wrong, though he never gave me a chance to finish a sentence. I would never recommend anyone seeing this doctor.

My experience with Dr. Yu has been positive, good listener, truly cares about me and my condition and I find him very knowledgeable. He shares his ideas and then we both discuss the path to take. Always respectful. He never rushes me out the door. If he is running late he makes a point to come into the room to share with me he had an emergency patient situation. No worries, if I was that patient I would want him with me too. I am blessed to have him as my Dr..

I was so hopeful when I went to see Dr. Yu, I was excited to finally get answers to my issues. He was patronizing, argumentative and did not listen to my symptoms. I had to call for lab results and when we discussed them he basically told me to just accept my illness. I sneeze for four hours every night and he said this was not unusual. Dr Bilstrom may be amazing but his partner not so much. I am still no closer to a solution then I was when I entered his office. Not impressed.

I wish I could give 0 stars based on my experience with Dr. Yu. He was argumentative, disrespectful, a poor listener, and was more interested in being "right" than being helpful. I will drive three times as far to see a different allergist! He was very minimalistic in explaining and discussing my concerns. He is most definitely not a "people person"....should be in the back room working in a lab.
