Dr. Alexander Roth, MD

Dr Roth did not rush me into surgery, he told me 'You will know when it's time'. We tried all the other resources, Physical Therapy, swim classes, shots. They all helped but the condition was worsening after a short time. I like to walk and bike ride and that all had to end. I felt less confident waking alone and had a lot of pain. Stepping off a curb was painful and I thought I would fall if someone didn't hold me. No more stairs for me. It was really interfering with my daily functions. Dr. Roth has performed many of these robotic total knee replacements and I was very impressed with his ability and confidence to make me well again. I am so glad I followed through and trusted him to handle this procedure. My goals are to strengthen my body and be able to regain things I enjoy. The Dr. did his part. The hard work is up to me now- walk, exercise, swim and bike. He says I will be able to do all these things again!

Dr. Roth is very pleasant and knowledgeable. He went over everything very well and answered all of my questions. His team was great !!

Kudos and thanks to Dr. Roth and his team for their approach to my knee replacement surgery, which included a robotic component. He explained everything thoroughly and I especially liked the daily 'check in' opportunities via the GetWell Loop, plus his team was extremely prompt in responding to my questions and concerns via MyChart. The surgery went well, healing is progressing and I could not be more positive about the experience. Yes, there is discomfort as expected. No way to get around that fact. And I'm eager to review the pluses and minuses of the robotic aspect with Dr. Roth at my follow-up.

The moment I meant his entire Team was a great pleasure; they all made me comfortable, Dr Roth actively listened, he provided a clear explanation of diagnosis and the procedure plan once I decided I would like to proceed with my Knee Replacement. I have received great care from the moment I walked into CCF Avon to officially met Dr Roth team , radiology team, Joanna his beautiful nurse, caring and supportive. and Physician AsstThe entire staff made me feel at ease, the scheduling of Preop and Postoperative, the PT it was like a little road map and the staff had completed to the very end, all I had to do was to be present. Once I arrived at home ,I received messages daily to check on my progress, the nurse called to check on my well being. Im recovering wonderfully and receiving PT.Thank you again

What I can say about Dr. Roth is a very professional so is his staff? I am very satisfied with the outcome from my hip replacement. I mean both of my hips I’ve been replaced by Dr. Roth So I would definitely recommend him to anybody

Dr Roth is always kind, informative, patient and takes time with his patients. I experienced his empathy and concern. It was genuine and made me less anxious about my knee replacement.

Dr. Roth's personality was very important to me. I knew he was an excellent surgeon, as he was referred to me by a Dr at the Cleveland Clinic who had very competently treated my spinal issue this past year. Dr. Roth was kind, listened to me, and explained what the situation was with my knee, and how he would resolve it. I had complete trust in him and am recovering beautifully with no complications. His care and instructions before and after surgery were detailed and easy to follow.If I could give him more than 5 stars, I certainly would.

Every time I have needed assistance or a question to be answered, the response time has been quick appreciated having a call to me in regards to how I am feeling everything that I’ve anticipated and experienced was explained to me prior to going into surgery.
