A real doctor
Dr. Parr is the real thing. He saved me from having unnecessary surgery, which was recommended by another and well-known health clinic in the area. He is attentive, caring, thorough, and honest. I highly recommend him.

License from a Cracker Jack Box
Substitute for surgery scheduled with Dr Bermudez. Requested I visit him, even though the surgery was cleared by Bermudez and my GP. Did not review notes from Bermudez. Did not consider my previous health issues (in the Bermudez file) or after I explained them to him. Jumped to conclusions and refused to do my surgery 4 days before surgery date. More concerned with performing a quick easy hernia surgery and avoiding any risk or effort.

A heartfelt thank ,Dr Parr, for your care, skills and kindness. Early November I had a right Hemi colectomy performed in emergency and the procedure went well and smooth. Thank you for being an excellent surgeon and a wonderful human being.

Dr Alexander Parr saved my life !!!!!!!!! God bless him and his amazing team ! I suffered with a very large hiatus hernia that almost killed me because I was afraid and never had surgery before. His patience, understanding to my feeling were real and he is the best had my surgery and now in 3 wks of healing I should have done it sooner! Many blessings to you and I will bless you as long as I live THANK YOU !!!!!!

Found the staff to be amazing. Loved that Dr. reviewed my case BEFORE entering the room. He explained EVERYTHING, he also listened to everything I said, he had empathy for my condition & genuinely wanted to fix me ASAP. I feel relieved that he is doing my surgery which is a very rare surgery, I feel confident I have the BEST man for the surgery, He walked me through exactly what would happen. I didn't feel rushed as he spent what felt like an hour with me making sure I am prepared.

I am now experiencing critical delayed post op treatment a month late, because for some unexplained reason I was not given prompt follow up information. This delay may not have been attributed directly to the doctor, but ultimately responsibility for the performance of his staff, is his. It was clear when he gave me the information, it was news to him because it was the first time he'd seen it.

Very little in the way of communication either prior to or after surgery. He left most of the communication to the nurses, and didn't explain anything, or said "do you have any questions" when you don't know enough to know what to ask. My interaction was through the hospital not his office.
