Dr Michalow is the best orthopedic surgeon I've been to. Courteous, informative, friendly and very professional. Only dictor I trust for my injections. PS Also a great piano player.

Dr. Michalow took time with me to explain the Surgery he was going to perform on me. After surgery he explained to me what I needed to do after surgery, and also made sure I had the necessary pain pills to reduce the amount of pain I was in. He was never in a rush to get me out of the office. Always gave me his time and devoted attention to answer all my questions. I would definitely use him again if I needed surgery.

Broken hip repair for y mother who is 94 years old. Very courteous and specific explanation following surgery which was result of a fall. Follow up office visit went very well.

Dr . Michalow recently did a minimally invasive total hip replacement on me and I am very pleased with the results. It has only been 2 weeks and I am walking with a cane long distances, and short distances without any assistive device. Recovery time is fast. Minimal pain at this point. I was very pleased with the time he took to prior to surgery to explain the procedure to me and answer my questions. I was also pleased with my first followup visit with him. I highly recommend him.

Without question Dr. Michalow is one of the finest Orthopedic surgeons in the field. He recently performed a total hip replacement procedure on my left hip. The successful procedure was preceded by several weeks of appropriate examinations and tests. I was always aware of necessary steps and procedures in the process. I have had my first follow up appointment and I am in recovery. Everyone from the courteous and helpful receptionists to the X-Ray technicians at Oak Orthopedics were professional

Dr. Michalow, ha been my orthopedic Dr. for several years. I can not say enough about this great Dr. He has helped me with pain management, recommended therapy, So fun and friendly! Thorough and understands the problem. Explanations are in detail and easy to understand. Thanks Dr. for doing what you do best. ( Of course the wife thinks you are better at the piano.) His empathy and compassion given my state of pain was greatly appreciated. The staff as well. Everyone was respectful and treated me as a human, as a patient, not a number. The x ray was quick and inconclusive given my pain level. A MRI was ordered and immediately done. me. Dr. Michalow read the report directly upon completion of the test & gave me a treatment plan. I'm still in disbelief as to how quickly I was given an apt and actually received answers the same day. I can't thank you enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Michalow and his staff at OAK in Bradley. I had a torn rotator cuff and a SLAP tear that he fixed, along with something else that did not show up on the MRI, but he seen it during surgery. He and his staff were very accommodating to me when I was very nervous about surgery. I am not 8 weeks post op and I have better motion in my arm than before surgery. While still in some pain due to PT, it is being managed very well. Thanks Dr. Michalow and his staff

I needed a total knee replacement Oak offered a free seminar informational at a Riverside facility I attended. This introduced me to the Oak staff doctors for the surgery I needed. I choose Dr. Michalow and set up an appointment to discuss my knee problems. X-Rays were taken for evaluation, recommendations for corrective surgery were provided and all my apprehensive questions were answered by Dr. Michalow. I would recommend anyone seeking total knee replacement to confer with Dr. Michalow.

It was very good. This visit was a follow up to shoulder surgery to remove bone spurs on my right shouder. I was very satisfied with the previous operation on the left shoulder perforned by Dr. Michalow several yers ago and and that is why I returned to him for the surgery on my right shoulder. .I am grateful for his skill in restoring my full use and full ange of motion in both shoulders.

He is the absolute best. He listened closely to my problem and discussed all my options. The surgeries have both been successful. He has replaced my left hip and repaired my right rotator cuff so far. I plan to stay with him for any future surgeries. I have already recommended him to family and co-workers.

We really liked that he was very upfront with our daughter in what was wrong and how he would go about fixing the injury and the length of recovery.
