Terrible
Dr. Martinez’s staff are horrible. Person who answers phone would put me in touch with nurse about problem. Went to see dr for back pain and arm pain. Dr . Decided to send to pt fir back. Did not address issue with arm. Did not record info about arm in record. When called back about severe pain in arm. Said I would come in . Was told go to another dr.

First visit
Dr Martinez is the only doctor to show me my spine and exactly what is wrong, why I have the pain. He will be doing my first inject next week, I’ll keep you posted. He is very kind, on time, took time and I really liked him!

I really liked my first visit with Dr. Martinez. He took time to explain my symptoms and conditions clearly. His "bedside manner" is excellent and his knowledge in his field of practice is excellent. He wasn't rushed or in a hurry. I would highly recommend him if you have a need for his expertise.

I have been to several doctors for years of constant back and side pain. Nothing was working to relieve the pain. My primary care physician referred me to Doctor Martinez. He did a through exam and ordered an MRI. On my next visit he reviewed the MRI with me. He was patient, kind, considerate and took his time with me. He offered do a procedure to relieve the pain. I chose to hold off on it. In the past I went to a pain clinic in Ohio. They referred me to physical therapy and pain meds. Nothing else. Dr. Martinez found the source that was causing the pain. That was so important for me physically and mentally. I highly recommend him to anyone in pain. He will find the source and relieve the patient of pain.

I am a patient in a few specialist practices & labs for issues including blood cancer, recently neck pain from a car accident, headaches and more but I never interacted with an office staff with less communication skills and more animosity. The icing on the cake is when the staff (Irene?) told me they only take information from the patient. I said, “But I AM the patient.” The answer was more craziness. I told them ,”OK, I can’t deal with this anymore and I agree to [the insurance issue as you want].” So after all the effort to get there, to deal with the lack of anything that made sense, and in pain, headache, wanting help, never drugs, the staff canceled my appointment apparently to demonstrate their control. I could make an appointment for another day. I never met Dr. Martinez and never will. Oh, BTW, I was the last patient so lucky them, done early.

Very kind and honest. Didn't think spinal injections would help my severe stenosis and referred me to a surgeon. Surgeon said he's very conservative and suggested the injections. Unfortunately the 3 injections didn't work so last recourse is surgery. I'm not willing to do that until the pain is unberable. It's a waiting game now. Would definitely reccommend.

I saw Dr. Martinez after suffering from severe pain for several months. He was very compassionate and listened to all my concerns. He explained in detail what the best treatment will be for me. After having one procedure I feel much better and I understand better my chronic pain (what to do and what not to do to feel better). He explained medications and how they work. I will recommend him to family and friends that suffer from chronic pain. Also, his staff is great and very caring.

I found Dr. Martinez exceptionally knowledgeable, experienced, and caring. After my initial consultation, I required two procedures. He made sure he sat with me first to explain thoroughly what would be done. During the procedure, he reassured me and went through the steps again. Afterward, as I sat in another exam room recovering he checked on me to see how I felt and if there were any questions. He repeated this same process upon my second procedure two weeks later. I would not trust anyone else except him for my care. And, I recommend Dr. Martinez to anyone requiring pain management.

He appears very genuine! Easy to speak with and obviously wants to help. Very nice demeanor and is professional. I'm a seasoned RN and trust him when my trusting physicians has been greatly tested recently. If I was't satisfied completely at my first visit I was ready to head to Boston where I know I would get the best care. I'm having a non invasive procedure with Dr Martinez this Frida and know I am in good hands.

I was referred to Dr Martinez. After conducting x-rays he told me that I had spinal stenosis. Worse, he told me that epidurals would not rectify the problem and that back surgery was my only option. Two months later a highly rated neurosurgeon advised that epidurals and physical therapy would most likely cure my back issue, that I didn't surgery. A different pain management specialist concurred with the neurosurgeon. 5 days after epidurals and therapy my back is doing great.
