I took my mom to see Dr. Kaplan for the first time. We were greeted by a very nice receptionist who thankfully spoke to my mom in Spanish making her feel comfortable. We waited 20min and went into the room. The technician preformed the test then Dr. Kaplan walked in. He started to speak English then realized my mom didn't speak English to he started to speak Spanish. He made sure my mom understood everything before we left. We are so grateful to have met Dr. Kaplan. He cares about his patients.

My mother was visiting from Africa and had chest pain. I got a same day appointment to see Dr. Kaplan after I explained what was going on. The receptionist was a little cold but everything changed when we saw Dr. Kaplan. He was so patient with her and really listened. I know it wasn't easy for him get her accent and I like that when I tried to speak for her, he addressed her directly. Excellent, kind doc I am going to send everybody I know to him for if they have heart problems.

Horrible person. He rushed through the appointment, didn't take the time to listen to me when I asked questions and made questionable medical decisions. I'm glad I got a second opinion from a different more knowledgeable cardiologist who has more experience than Kaplan. This guy was a joke.
