Dr. Golbin is always suggesting new methods to reduce my stress-anxiety and address issues that are patient specific. He uses unique analogies to suggest ways to reduce stress and they always seem to apply to my lifestyle and manifest change. My sleep has always been very important as I am aware that adequate restorative sleep will improve stress and overall health. He uses a unique approach that fits an individualistic type of approach that fits with my lifestyle and work commitments. Dr. Golbin has been able to bring a very noticeable change to my life with regards to stress and more importantly 'quality of life' through behavioral modifications and unique suggestions for sleep and a quality approach to life's more trying moments. very professional and knowledgeable

Sleep has been my main struggle.Dr. Golbin and I started with an earth grown herb (valerian root).From there, we spent years working up the classes finding what worked for me. He took my word, but he also factored that alongside countless mental and physical testings; tests for sleep, mental cognition, anxiety, blood pressure (controlled and not) as well as his psychologists opinion (psychologist runs his own set of tests). He has always wanted to treat me the best, because he cares about me.He has also made it very clear he knows his job is done right when I don't need to see him, and that's what he wants. He's helped me finish Highschool, is getting me through college, and is most importantly helping me succeed at life (this is what he wants). His practice is medicine but the advice surpasses that of just medicine. I have my testimony in the previous text box. I’ve seen a lot of doctors, therapists, etc… no one is as personal or intelligent as Golbin. He is a personal approach.

I have seen him for sleep disorder and found him not only the most experienced doctors I've ever met but he turned out to be extremely knowledgeable in several areas including problems with the aging process. He has published several books related to sleep disorders, child and adult disorders in several languages in several countries. It'e too bad that Medicare has put so many restrictions on him that he can no longer accept Medicare patients. I'll miss him terribly.

I want to say "thank you" to Dr. Golbin. He really improved the quality of my life. Dr. Golbin treated my problems very carefully. He really cares and listens. He is never in a hurry. He always explains what he prescribes, how the medicine works and what side effects I might experience. And his advice is invaluable. It works. I want to say a few words about his office too. It's very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly and supportive. And unlike most offices nowadays there is no problem with scheduling appointments or just speaking with office workers

As a 37 year old man, it took me way too long to finally look for help... And after meeting Dr. Golbin, I wish I would have been wise and strong enough to look for help earlier in my life. It is not an understatement to say that Dr. Golbin saved my life. From the moment I walked in his office he treated me like family, and that has not changed 3 years later. Not only do I look forward to my appointments with him, enjoy my time with him, but when I leave I always feel better about myself. He has been honest, kind, and compassionate…not to mention he is one of the top professionals in his field. He is wise with not only experience but up to date with current medical practices, listens well, takes you serious, and so gifted in finding the right path for YOU as an individual. Dr Golbin is a great professional whom you can trust with no doubts. His knowledge has no limits - thanks to his experience that includes working in different countries and environments, with variety of individuals and groups, I guarantee he is able to treat literally any psychiatric and sleep disorder. He is would listen to all your issues, asking many questions, going deep into details - to come up with the best treatment plan that helps your condition. Every time I am seen by Dr Golbin, I feel like l am the most important patient. Doctor Golbin and all office staff are very attentive and caring. Highly recommended!!!!!

Very educated, thoughtful, and practices with integrity.

Dr. Golbin is an excellent psychiatrist. One who listens, thinks critically and doesn’t just plug little tidbits of information into DSM diagnoses. He has treated me as an equal in the the healthcare relationship and has been very helpful in reversing damage done by other psychiatrists. He has been helpful with sleep apnea and CPAP issues as well.

There is something to be said for intuition. From the moment I met Dr. Golbin, my gut told me to stop looking, “you found him”! His style is refreshing. He doesn’t look at me as if I was a scientific puzzle to solve. Rather, he recognizes my uniqueness at the human level and builds the partnership needed to both better diagnose my condition and to give more effective feedback to me. He is always very timely with appointments. I’ve never been rushed in any way. He will be the first to tell you that he is not a mixologist at a saloon. Prescribing the most effective solutions is paramount to him, he’s not one to “see what happens”. Dr. Golbin’s tremendously vast background, thoroughness and true care for his patients make it easy for me to highly recommend him.

The field of psychiatry seems to be filled with doctors who want to throw darts at a wall to figure out if random sets of medication will work for the patient. Dr. Golbin is not like that in any way and it is a breath of fresh air. He is interested in actually helping you get better and not just seeing if a random assortment of medication will alleviate your problems. He is considerate, thorough, and an expert on how the brain functions. His experience is an asset and I would recommend him to anyone that is trying to manage their mental health demons.

From the very first minutes of the visit, Dr. Golbin manages to create an atmosphere of trust, keeping a very helpful balance between strictly medical issues and empathy, understanding his patients on a basic human level. Given his field of expertise, it builds a doctor/patient partnership so needed when dealing with health issues. Certainly, ready to recommend Dr. Golbin, especially to people for whom these qualities of his are of great importance.
