Great doctor, appreciate his care.

I took my mother to the emergency room after she had severe chest pain. She passed out on the road and could not remember where she was. She has been dealing with memory loss for the past couple months and some chest pain but never to this level. She also started throwing up. After taking her to the hospital we waited 5 hours before anyone saw us. I had asked the lady at the desk if she could help me get someone as my mother was having chest pains again. She eventually called back Dr. Chatham. From the start he was extremely rude and dismissive. My mother broke down crying to him and he ended up walking out of the room on her. Once he returned he did not let her finish talking about what she has been experiencing. Once we got a room he told her that he doesn’t think she has anything wrong with her and that he can’t help her. This was all before any tests where done or any vitals wheee taken. He also made the remark that “if this has been happening for a year and you haven’t died by now then it can’t be that concerning one an issue”. He continued to be rude and disrespectful to my mom and dad and we kept pushing for a cat scan of my moms head because he did not want to do one. He wanted to discharge her without checking anything. He did a cat scan finally along with a mri and blood work after we asked. Blood work came back okay except for some elevated levels that could indicate a blood clot and high liver levels . He did an mri on her chest and said there’s not clot but never told us why the liver levels could be high. He discharged us without telling us anything and still with her having chest pain.
