Not good outcome to hernia surgery
My experience was not good at all because Dr. Aurora created a worse issue, a bulge that can never be fixed, when he did hernia surgery.

Your team is great
Dr. Aurora and his team took care of me for over 1 year. I visited his office once a week until he made sure I was healed. I think of him as a friend now. Thanks, Jerry

I had surgery to repair an incisional hernia 13 months ago. He said the hernia itself was repaired but I was left with a bigger bulge after the surgery from him than before and he seemed to have no explanation as to what happened to produce it and he said there was nothing he could do about it. It is very uncomfortable and unsightly. I have burning and discomfort everyday because of it. No one wants to address the problem and it is very upsetting. I would not recommend him.

Had Dr. Aurora for a double hernia repair on December 4th, 2019. I am writing this review on December 13th after going to Dr. Aurora for my followup appointment. I was actually referred to the doctor from my Urologist, and a member of that doctor's staff, whose husband used Dr. Aurora. Both my Urologist and staff member said he was excellent, and he was. I liked him from the beginning. He has a direct but confident way of speaking, which I like. His staff are all very professional as well, so I knew I was in good hands. I also want to thank the professionals at UofM Harford Memorial for their great care. Wonderful treatment as well! The surgery went fine, and as the doctor promised, I was walking the same day, never needed the prescription drug for pain, just some residual soreness that was to be expected. Within 4 days I was down to a dull ache once in awhile, and at the one week mark, I was completely pain free. I thank Dr. Aurora and his staff. I give him my highest recommendation

Top-notch surgeon. Performed emergency surgery on a Saturday evening to remove blockage in my small intestine. He took the time to make sure I understood the procedure. Outstanding follow-up. I was able to go home the following Thursday.

I'm 51 years old and Dr. Aurora completed a laparoscopic hernia repair July 2017. His staff was easy to deal with, his assisting anesthesiologist was great, and assisting nurse was also great. Surgery went well and no problems; was back to (office) work five days later, though I probably should have waited a couple more days. 1+ years later, all is still good.
