Incompetent.Lack of compassion. Lack of apathy. Lack of professionalism. Lack of interests in patients Those are among the things this doctor is about. And he belongs to a very low-quality medical group run by a father and his son, the Montes Medical group, which is heavy in bureaucracy and lousy staff.

Highly recommended
Dr. Tran has been my mom's primary doctor. He is an excellent doctor. He thoroughly examines, explains, and recommends what needs to be done. He spends reasonable time with the patient. Since I've always accompanied my mom to her appointments, I have also decided to transfer and switch to Dr. Tran as my primary doctor. His outstanding patient care is highly recommended.

Dr, Tran was very thorough and detailed. He had reviewed my medical records before my first visit, and had detailed questions about my medical history. He has been very responsive and always returns my calls and questions. Dr. Tran is very personable, and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly so I can understand. I truly feel he is interested in providing me the best care available. He helped to get my case escalated for the medical treatment I needed. Dr. Tran has been in contact with my specialists and I feel I couldn't find better care.

So disappointing, terrible customer service!!!! Had 2 visits at the Whittier office. First time had labs with no type of follow up and I have health issues that require meds. I have not been able to get a refill! Second visit I was a few minutes late and they could not or would not try to accommodate me. No visible sign of any Alex Tran, the whole reason Dr. was chosen was due to good reviews. I would not recommend this practice and plan on changing my PC ASAP.

My father saw Dr Tran and his symptoms were dismissed. My father wound up having severe nerve damage that went missed due to lack of a thorough examination. As a health practitioner myself it is important that we listen to our patients symptoms and do thorough evaluations. We wound up changing to another doctor.
