My experience with Dr Lam goes back about 17 years! I was at a point in my condition where I was in such pain I was barely getting out of bed. With Dr Lams care, compassion, guidance and extensive knowledge, my pain is manageable and I can enjoy life now! I moved 5 hrs away. It will take me a long time to find another rheumatologist who comes close to Dr Lam!

Never got to see, him. Waited a long time to get an appointment. Seemed Ok when I walked-in. Sign-in process was easy. Nothing to fill out since they make you complete a life story in advance of your visit. Waited a long time to be called. The assistant took my weight and BP. She was pleasant. I thought I was seeing Dr Lam, as referred by my doctor, but I saw Jacqueline Rodriguez, NP. She spent less than 10 minutes with me. I explained all I need at this point is management of my disease. Filling my meds. She then walked me to the front and ordered a ton of lab work. Second, visit pretty much the same, except prior to I needed 1 of my medications filled and was called by someone to tell me this medication in not used in their practice and I should go back to my previous doctors office. I was told the same thing by Jacqueline Rodriguez who sounded like a broken record and she had to speak with Dr Lam before she filled the prescription. Let’s see what happens next visit, a refill is due.

First off, I’m a healthcare pro. I took care of many of Dr Lam patients. All of them had nothing but positive things to say about him from every race, disease process and insurance coverage he does not discriminate. The stories were the same. How much he cares, his unique approach and how he has worked miracles. I finally met Dr Lam & at that point it was like meeting a celebrity bc I’ve never heard of such a highly regarded physician. Meeting for him at my job proved true to all the previous patient accounts. I had seen two very awful rheumatologist before. I’m young w/ a very difficult and unusual case. Dr Lam was relentless and patient in trying to find my diagnosis, the root cause and the best treatment given my life as a young women who had gone through pregnancy & 13m breastfeeding during this journey. Dr Lam finally found my problem. His homeopathic/western medicine approach offered the least invasive and effective approach. I was able to avoid surgery/radioactive iodine. GOAT!

During this pandemic this is the only doctor we’d leave our house for. And this is the opinion of many at our retirement community where the demands are huge and sometimes unrealistic. As a retired nurse from a family of doctors I can tell you Dr Lam really cares. He treats my 95 year old father with the greatest compassion and always gives me bits information I need to have better quality of life as a patient and as a caregiver. He prescribes when he has to but most importantly teaches us how to live healthier and happier. You can tell he’s busy but you can see genuine love for his patients. We always leave his office with some helpful information and a happy heart. What more can you ask for?

I have recently met this doctor. On my first visit he spent 2 minutes on the subject of why I came to him, and he told me he will have to draw blood. When I said I usually do my bloodwork at Lab Corp, he insisted I do it with him. His 8 women calling and trying to book appointments were loud and annoying. On the second visit he told me I did not have Arthritis, he pers robed an Opiod, he was working 4 rooms at a time. He spent virtually 3 minutes with me. This guy is milking the system and offers little comfort to patients.

I spent years going from doctor to doctor and Dr. Lam was the only one that listened and helped me. Every other doctor saw a young person and dismissed me as a head case. Ever since that day I've never left and he's been with me thru all the ups and down of a life with Fibromyalgia. I would not have made it without him. His staff is also helpful and friendly. There's a patient portal that makes it really easy to communicate with them at all times and check your previous visits and med history

Dr. Lam was a big waste of time and money. I would never recommend him. I just moved to the Miami area, and needed to transfer my treatment for fibromyalgia & OA from another rheumatologist. My meds include Tramadol. Within the 5 mins he spent with me (no physical exam either!), Lam told me he doesn't prescribe tramadol. I had waited 6 weeks for the appt. I needed prescriptions, so my General Practitioner wrote my scripts to last me until I could get an appt. with another rheumatologist.

Dr. Lam is wonderful. My daughter referred him to me and every thing wonderful that she said about him is so true times two. He is the most gentle, patient and kindhearted Doctor that I have ever been to. Which is a huge compliment because I have been to several Doctors in my lifetime. I would refer everyone to him. I drive from Naples, Florida to see him because I am so impressed with his care.
