Best Rheumatologist in SWFLA
I have been a patient of Dr. Granath for over 5 years. I have had a severe form of psoriatic arthritis for over 30 years. I continue to play ice hockey on a weekly basis because of the excellent care I receive from Dr. Granath. Simply the best!!

I'v been a patient of Dr. G for about five years. The first time I went to see her I was on crutches and in a lot of pain. I tossed out the crutches after one month of her treatment and prescriptions and the pain factor was greatly lowered. Her"bedside manner", leaves a lot to be desired, she can be very terse and abrupt but she knows what she is doing. Her PA is a sweet, knowledgeable woman and her receptionist is not 'miss personality' but is also efficient. She stopped seeing new patients quite some time ago so that tells you something. I don't go to a doctor for their personality, I go to be treated.

I’ve seen Dr. Granath for 2 years. At first I liked her thourough testing and bedside manner. She does not recommend the AIProtcol diet, but it helps. At each visit we fill out a survey of pain and related symptoms, but during the brief visit the doctor never reviews it. I told her, and subsequently was dismissed from her practice. I like her medical assistant’s pleasant and positive temperament. Her receptionist is the exact opposite, with terse responses.

After reading these reviews & seeing Dr Granath a few times, it is clear she is very selective about which patients she chooses to treat respectfully & her staff follows her que. She is known for discharging patients in the middle of treatment for no good reason. Her receptionist or secretary or whatever she is supposed to be is the rudest I’d ever met. They are both cold & show not a bit compassion or empathy to the people who go there for help with a serious chronic disease.

Too bad that Dr Granath doesn't seem to care that her staff is completely rude and unprofessional. I had been calling and leaving messages for a week to make sure they received the REQUIRED Dr.'s referral. I DIDN'T get a return call after 4 days. They were so rude with many excuses and an attitude to match. I told the "Office Manager" how rude they were she got more of an attitude with me. They were never going to get me in with the Dr. I WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND ANYONE EVER GO TO THIS OFFICE!!!

My experience with this doctor was absolutely awful. Her staff and her treated me with complete disrespect from the start. I had to wait over 2 hours when I was on time for my appointment, only to be told I may have scleroderma and if so all she can do is "babysit" me the rest of my life. I would not let my dog see this doctor, as she has no compassion or bedside manner. Stay away!

Dr Granath was the rudest, most unprofessional, impatient, discourteous, arrogant physician I have ever experienced anywhere. She walked into the room with a chip on her should larger then the room. Her impatience and rudeness was un-paralled. Her first question was "How did you get here" and her second question was are you "seasonal" . Although it was an emergency referral her answer was that she doesn't treat "sesaonal" patients. It was immediately all down hill from there, never go there

Unfortunately this office is poorly staffed and mismanaged. The phone is never answered and half the messages you leave are ignored. Tried for over 6 months to schedule an appointment and despite repeated attempts from my primary doctor this office claims to have never received a referral or request. Hard to believe they have any appointments scheduled at this office.

I have a rare rheumatic disease and have seen 3 rheumatologists before but they could not help me. Dr Granath was the first one who gave correct diagnosis and now 5 months into the treatment I feel like my old self again. Office staff is pleasant enough. I would recommend this office to those who are looking for a physicians who don't cut corners. She went over all my records and did thorough work up which none of my prior doctors did. I am very grateful for all she has done for me.

It took almost 5 months to get an appointment. Office and Staff are about impossible to communicate with, i.e. rarely answers phone, hardly never returns calls, will not verify information, have a patient wait in line attitude, etc. Had one visit and Dr. Granath and she needs to do better on communication and listening. Her policy is also to have her staff call and explain results, which they cannot often answer questions. Trying to following was impossible. Overall not a good experience.

can't get into portal. impossible to get printouts of care summaries or lab reports. asked and faxed many times. promises, no printouts. never a person on phone. hardly ever calls back. last 3 times we didn't even see doctor though this week was supposed to be her review. Originally thought she was competent, though cold, but now we only get a tech or PA. she set us up with a drug supplier without even telling us. we received a call and did not know if it was crank or legitimate. very scary.
