This entire office is great. From Sherry to Dr. Rahklin, I felt like I was in great hands from start to finish. I had hernia surgery and he did an amazing job. I will definitely return to him if necessary

From the moment I met Dr. Rakhlin, I had the feeling I was in good hands. He never let me down!! Day of surgery he gave a time frame…spot on. Recovery time he gave me a timeframe…spot on. Hopefully I’ll never need his services again…… but without hesitation, I’ll return.

He has no bedside manners, yells at nurses in front of patients. Very arrogant personality.

Had recent emergency gallbladder surgery at Nyack Hospital. Dr. Rakhlin performed the surgery. I was very pleased with his pre-op explanation, bedside manner and follow up. Staples were removed a week later. Would definitely seek him out again should the need arise, and would recommend Dr. Rakhlin to family and friends.

Dr. Rahklin was most professional and kind. He was more than willing to answer all questions, even drew pictures for further clarification. Dr Rakhlin was very professional,friendly, and explained the procedure completely and alleviated any fears I had regarding the surgery. Office staff was helpful and made constant follow ups during my recovery.

I recently needed an emergency appendectomy. Dr. Rakhlin, who I had never met, was on call for the ED. He provided a thorough exam, explained the procedure and promptly operated. I was back to exercising in only a few days. My follow up visit was on time and the office staff were very pleasant. As a nurse, I am very pleased with my care and thankful that our paths crossed.

On October 18, 2019 Dr. Rahklin performed a gallbladder removable. On the first office visit he explained the procedure along with drawing a diagram of the anatomy to ensure I had a clear understanding of what was involved. He is very knowledgeable and a pleasant doctor. I highly recommend him.

My name is Ewa Milshtein. My surgery was performed on 10/01/2019. The decision about going to surgery was very though. I was waking up every night with the pain that would not go away until the morning. It was gallbladder stones that would not let me live the normal life. I decided to go to Dr. Aleksandr Rakhlin, MD. He is a great doctor who took all the necessary time to meet with me at his office and talk about all the side effects. He even took time to draw the liver and the gallbladder and how the gallbladder removal looks like during the surgery and how it is all going to work after. An hour before the surgery he was there to answer all the questions and after surgery I received the needed support. I would like to recommend Dr. Rakhlin, MD. to anyone who is looking for a great and passionate surgeon. He is a doctor with a mission, working with passion and cares about his patients. I had umbilical hernia surgery performed by Dr. Rakhlin in November of 2011. The mesh he used has now protruded through my naval and now his repair needs to be repaired with major abdominal surgery. I do not recommend this surgeon to anyone.

I would highly recommend Dr. Rankhlin; he is an outstanding doctor and so is his staff. He has done surgery on my wife and daughter, and both are living better lives from it. His professionalism and persona gave me and my family calmness during these trying times.

Dr Rakhlin was excellent. My laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery was done in less than an hour. I appreciated not being under anesthesia for too long. No complications at all. Lovely bedside manner & demeanor. Very quick recovery.

Dr. Rakhlin performed two surgeries an emergency appendectomy and colorectal surgery on my brother about 2 weeks ago at Nyack hospital. He is a skilled, dedicated and caring surgeon. Dr. Rakhlin was very understanding and patient with my brother that happens to be mentally ill. He explained everything about my brother's diagnosis to us in detail.
