Do not go to him.
I was referred to Dr Mejia after a single visit with Karen Pellerin in early 2020. They clearly wanted to give me medication, and had no plans for management of that care or any interest in my actual wellbeing. I was put on a mood stabilizer and was not given any sort of information on the likely side effects, or how I would feel if I missed a dose. Additionally, Dr. Mejia did not even CONSIDER how the drug may interact with my birth control. If you're seeing female patients, you absolutely have to keep their reproductive care in mind. Additionally, I received a $350 bill over 2 years after my appointment, well after I was able to submit this bill to my insurance company. Do not go to this psychiatrist, or frankly, this entire office. IBH was not invested in my care in the slightest.

Sufficient treatment during the time i was seeing him. Continued to refill my rx for months after i moved. Abruptly stopped refills without suffice warning leaving me with crippling antidepressant discontinuation syndrome.

Dr. Meija is excellent. He is very thorough, patient and I feel that he truly listens to my concerns. His approach is to have his patience participate in decision making, which is refreshing. Overall, he is an amazing doctor and I would highly recommend him.
