Kind and very thorough during recent hospital stay
That Dr. Hassankhani able to see that this was not a heart issue but an esophageal issue. He was able to look beyond his specialty to the possibility of something else.

Bad Experience
Did not go like my family expected. My grandmas appointment was scheduled at 12:15 pm we were waiting in the room until 1:30pm the doctor took only 10 mins asking about her symptoms and asking what imaging or test she had done at the hospital. i asked the doctor if he had a chance to look at my grandmas records at Scripps he said no he didn't get a chance to see them and it would take 10 mins for him to open up scripps epic. i expected for him to explain her the diagnosis or something but he wanted to start all over again with a stress test. My mother asked a question to the medical assistant she completely ignored her. We were asking questions at the front desk the lady looked bothered answering like we should already know.

Outstanding doctor. Having worked at Stanford, I know great doctors. He ablated my brother’s heart several times, while he was attempting to survive chemotherapy (for lymphoma) when bed ridden. My brother became a different stronger person after ablation. His oncologist said my brother’s recovery is a miracle. Dr. Hassenkhani has gifts that are difficult to describe. We are grateful as a family for his talents.

Horrible, the worst ever, lost my heart monitor twice. Never answer the phone. Watch out from the assistant nurse LETI, she doesn’t know what she’s doing. Don’t wast your time !

For medical service he and his staff are tops. For scheduling office visits they are not good - don't schedule an appt after Noon - you will have hours to wait. My last visit Aug 3, 2018 scheduled for 2:30 PM, I waited until after 4:00 PM to be seen. I watched as 7 other patients waited well over an hour each. They don't see patients in the order of arrival - I saw 3 patients come much later than me and all were seen before me. I was there for a 7 minute check of my pacemaker - by the Tech.
