An awesome doctor
Dr. Cuellar has performed two hip replacement surgeries on me, the first, a posterior approach, in 2004, and the second, anterior approach this year, in 2022. Both results were outstanding. I would highly recommend Dr. Cuellar to anybody needing hip replacement surgery. He had me back water skiing, at Nationals, three and a half months after my surgery this year. Rehab is very important, and he will tell you that as well. The anterior approach is the way to go, but that wasn't available back in 2004. The surgery and hospital stay were excellent. I had surgery on a Monday, and left the hospital the next day, after lunch. His staff is excellent as well, and the hospital was like a five star hotel.

I've had four joint replacements by Dr Cuellar - 2 hips and 2 knees. My most recent was in early August, 2021. He is competent and thorough. He requires specific physical therapy groups to assure each patient has success with their mobility. Dr Cuellar is not a warm, fuzzy guy who hugs you and tells you what you want to hear. If that's what you need, get a teddy bear. If you want a surgeon who cares about your outcome and demands the proper physical therapy to assure your success, you want Dr Cuellar.

The worst doctor ever; totally botched hip replacement that has caused serious health issues and lied that the x-rays looked good. After several years of suffering, finally went to another doctor who was appalled that Cuellar obviously tried to hide his failure and convince us the hip was fine when it definitely was not. Went for a third opinion who confirmed the second doctor. Now will have to undergo a very painful revision. Dr. Cuellar didn't even have the guts to admit the hip was taken off of market due to numerous issues from patients.

In 2009 this man did a hip replacement and I have never had a doctor as rude and mean spirited as he was to me. I will never recommend him to any one. My whole family feels the same way. There are some of the BEST doctors at KSF in Houston. Not him.In my opinion.

Dr Cuellar is an excellent physician. He replaced my left knee 5 years ago and I have been pain free since. I see him once every couple of years for an injection in my hip. Always effective and pain free.

This surgeon is exceptional as well as his staff. We are fortunate to have a skilled surgeon like him in Spring. My knee surgery and rehab are going well due to attention to detail. I was prepared for each step. Dr. Cuellar will repair my other knee in July.

I couldn't have had a better experience. Dr. Cuellar's expertise and calming demeanor were reassuring, Sherry was always available for help, Valerie was a patient scheduler. Ann was extremely helpful when it came to navigating the office; she always helped me reach the proper person when I had questions or needed help. The skill and attention of Dr. Cuellar and his staff returned my life to me, and I am grateful.

Dr. Cuellar was exceptional from beginning to end. His staff likewise handled every detail flawlessly and were always available to assist and answer questions. The surgery and hospital care were unbelievable. I would like to acknowledge Valerie for handling the arrangements; Sherry for the pre-op training and post-surgery assistance; and certainly a big thanks to Alisha for the exceptional physical therapy that got me back on my feet and mobile. Dr. Cuellar and his team are truly the best! Respectfully, M. Bartee

Dr Cuellar was cold, arrogant and dismissive. Spent a whole 2 minutes with me in the initial appt and gave me no opportunity to ask questions before scurrying out. Subsequent appt was no better.

I have come in 3 times. Have had to wait hours. This time appointment was for 9:15 am and checked in at 9. Didn't see him till almost 11:00. Missed other appointments I had that day. Thought early appointment would be better wait time. Think I will find another doctor. Can't sit here for hours each time.

He is condescending & rude. Xrays showed both my knees bone on bone. In his three minutes that he spent with me, his response to me was that I needed total knee replacements in both knees but that since I was fat he wouldn't do surgery on me and suggested I go get bariatic stomach stapling surgery done instead. OMG. Stunned me. He knew nothing about me, didn't bother to ask any details. Big NO. Never never, ever go to this doctor. Thank god I have found a diff. dr. now that cares about me.

The appointment was for 1015 did not see dr. Cuellar until 1220. Nurse working with him isn't not exactly the friendliest person you will ever meet. The staff at the front desk is nice and efficient. I would not recommend this doctor, because of the wait time and unprofessionalism. Spent a total of 3 minutes.

He was very rude to me and completely ignored what I was saying to him. By the end of the visit, he was convinced that I had no idea where my hip joint was, but he does because he's a surgeon, a hip surgeon! He also told me that there was nothing wrong with my hip joint. I went to another doctor a few days later and apparently, I know exactly where my hip joint is and there is truly an issue going on with it.
