Dr. Schlisserman performed my first Cataract surgery today. I am normally a very nervous surgical patient but he explained the process so clearly that I was calm and pleased.

Went to Suothtowns Eye Center for cataract consult. Dr. Schlisserman spent 5-6 minutes with me and told me my cataract in my right eye was very bad before rushing off to his next patient. After surgery, I discovered multiple lens options were available, not just a monofocal iol set a distance. Also I don’t have 20/15 vision they claim. I was over corrected and am myopic with 20/30 vision, which was 20/40 before surgery. And I had a grade 2 - mild cataract in the eye. So, be careful!

Dr. Schlisserman and the entire staff at the Southtown's Eye Center are top notch. My appointment with the doctor and four other staff members was the most pleasant appointment I've ever had at a doctors office. The doctor spend 45-minutes with me and answered every question my wife and I asked. One of my sons also saw him and was also very satisfied with the doctor and the staff.

A very personable doctor. Dr. Schlisserman also performed my eyelid surgery. The operation and results were fantastic. I highly recommend his knowledge and expertise.
