Dr. Alan Yeung Tso, MD

I am speaking on behalf of my father who is a patient of Dr. Tso, and doesn't speak English. Your Newark office at 741 Broadway is the most frustrating place. No one ever picks up and when other centers (Imaging Center) try to reach you for authorization, it's impossible to get, and then our appointments have to be cancelled. Do you understand how hard it is to schedule an appointment for our Chinese speaking father when no one picks up?! We take the time out of our day for these appointments and 90% of them are always being cancelled the day before because his office did not provide authorization to approve the appointment, but expects my father to keep the follow-up appointment for a procedure that could not happen. I've never met a more incompetent staff and while I believe Dr. Tso means well, the fact that this still happens after we've told him numerous times, speaks volumes to me about him as a doctor.

I speak as a patient who has seen Dr. Tso at Beth Israel/Mt. Sinai for routine office visits for more five+ years. He is 100% professional. Everything you could want in a doctor/patient relationship. Sorry to him leave for NJ.
