Dr. Alan Shahtaji, DO

Dr. Shahtaji is a world class practitioner. Kind, through, with an attitude of real care; he listens. Reminiscent of Doctors of yore, who would do home visits and then take time for a cup of tea afterwards, (at least where I grew up in England) he is truly a dying breed. Going above and beyond is his creed, with a humbleness that can often belie his knowledge, for he is truly expert and accomplished in his field. Notwithstanding the weekly, yearly trips with my father, to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota (for his well man checkup and my annual, required physicals for school), have I ever been so at ease and confident with my medical care. I feel well in Dr. Shahtajis' hands, which can not be said for most other practitioners in my care team, who give 5 careless minutes, just to get on with the next. Leaving one feeling bereft and full of other worrying questions unanswered. Dr. Shahtagi gives an abundance of time, with clear, unhurried prognosis. A fine Doctor of irreproachable repute.
