Dr. Alan Pollack, MD

I was referred by my Dr and said so as I called for an appointment. All they wanted to know was my insurance. I ask if they wanted to know my name or my referring physician "no we need your insurance and if we do not take it we will not scheduled an appointment". No interest in me as a person, my doctor referring. I have always paid cash yet guess that is not good enough.

I have seen Dr. Pollack for years and have had many health and eye issues. He and his staff are excellent and experienced. I trust him implicitly! I highly recommend him!

Dr. Pollack is great - very professional yet empathetic and engaging. He handled lens replacement surgery and follow-on laser surgery and I’ve been very happy with the results. His staff and colleagues are also great to work with: patient, professional and attentive to their clientele.

This doctor is probably great but his front desk person is RUDE and hangs up on you. Had to keep calling her back and she kept hanging up!!!!!!! She said she was alone and clearly she couldn't care less about bringing in new patients because her nerves were frayed. Kept me on hold for 10 minutes when I called back. No apologies. Not a good front desk situation here.

Dr. Pollack was fine but his office staff is rude. The last time I was there I was doing a bunch of different doctor's appointments that day and despite the fact that the office was running behind, they tried to not allow me to leave the office (even though I had 45 min.) to go to another dr. in the same building. That was bad enough but to top it off, they have misbilled and refused to go back to my insurance about it. Since I now don't have that insurance, the carrier won't talk to me about it

Dr Pollack is very friendly and takes the time to listen to your questions and answer them. His diagnosis and treatment were spot on.
