If you have autonomic dysfunction (POTS), chronic fatigue, or similar (esp. W/ Ehlers Danlos), this is *the* doctor to see. He listens & cares. He's knowledgeable- He collaborates with top EDS experts, stays current on research, and attends conferences worldwide, at which he often speaks. Most important, he'll try his very best to help you feel better. He's accessible, always returns messages. At your 1st appt, he spends 2 hrs with you (if needed). He schedules one hour for follow-ups.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Pocinki?
Based upon 13 years' experience as a patient, I cannot rate Dr. Pocinki too highly not only as a exceptionally knowledgeable and qualified internist, but as a physician who is extremely pleasant and reassuring in demeanor. He takes careful medical notes and thoroughly explains his diagnoses, prescriptions, course of treatment, and referrals. He spends an entire hour with each patient during physical examinations, quite unlike what I understand to be the rush hour atmosphere of many practices.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Pocinki?
Dr. Pocinki is demonstrably knowledgeable about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Seems to only recommend Prescription medications though; feels like the hammer approach. Few practical suggestions about naturopathic, dietary supplements, or lifestyle adjustments for CFS; nor offers insights what folks with CFS might anticipate in the future. While knowledgeable, I consider him too expensive (~$375/hr) for the medical service provided.
