Experienced Doctor
I was seen by Dr Lyman recently. I wanted to confirm my ADHD diagnosis- I was struggling at my job and lacked motivation. He helped me to formulate a plan, and tools to go forward. I am very grateful for his patient help and encouragement. I trust and recommend this caring Doctor highly.

Great Doc visits
Saw Dr. Lyman for three years for anxiety and depression. I appreciated our appointments and found him to listen to me and took the time to form an impression. He is caring and I see why he is highly regarded by my internist who referred me. He always returned my emails and phone calls when necessary. I will miss our conversations since I am moving out of state. I appreciate his flexibility and highly recommend.

Rushed Appointments, Zero Care, Only Concern is $
Telehealth
I saw Dr. Lyman for four years. He honestly does not seem to care about his patients. Our 45 minute appointments were normally around 7-10 minutes. He asks the exact same standard set of questions at each 'appointment' and as soon as he gets the same repetitive questions out, he starts plugging in the perscriptions while you sit on the phone with him. He does not seem to remember things from other appointments or have any interest in his patients. When my health insurance changed providers (from Oxford to Empire) he told me he didn't accept that provider and then just stopped responding to emails. He didn't give any referrals or even respond to my email letting him know that I could cancel my next appointment because I found someone who takes my new insurance. If you're looking for a psychiatrist that will just give you whatever pills you ask for, Dr. Lyman is great for that. If you are looking for care and expertise, I would recommend another choice. Dr. Lyman is in it for the money.

I saw Dr Lyman for therapy and meds during a really dark time in my life . I cant overstate how greatful I am for his caring compassionate care. He was very dedicated and went well beyond previous doctors. He also is very responsive to emails and phone- i always felt taken care of and he keeps up with research and is extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend him to family and friends
