Dismissive
Told me I am “healthy.” Dismissed test results, dismissed all of my other health issues confirmed by other tests, said he didn’t believe them. If you have a genetic connective tissue disease other than Marfan, I highly suggest you see someone other than this physician. I know I am not the only one treated this way because I have a personal friend who actually had a dissection (treated by emergency surgery) and he told them he didn’t believe their genetic testing results because they didn’t show Marfan. They moved to get appropriate care after he told them that he couldn’t help them. Inexcusable.

The best MD I've ever had
Dr Braverman has been treating me since 2010 when I had my first heart attack at age 32. I was diagnosed then with Marfan Syndrome. Dr Braverman fought my insurance company to get me genetic testing. This man has bedside manner like no other. He genuinely cares about his patients. When my mom's new insurance didn't cover him and she was hospitalized, he still came to visit her everyday and assisted her care team without cost.

Dr. Braverman is an ANGEL!
I have Marfan Syndrome and Dr. Braverman has been a LIFESAVER of information and medical care!!! I had an aortic dissection in Sept. 2019 and he was kind, informative, understanding, KNOWLEDGABLE, and even calming. I had follow-up visits with him for three years but had to stop when I got a job whose insurance is not accepted at Dr. Braverman's clinic. Unfortunately, NO ONE knows Marfan and cardiology like he does and I'm trying to find insurance that he takes so I can see him again. HE IS WONDERFUL!

I was referred to this doctor because he specializes in Marfans. I dont have Marfans, but I have a different (severe) CTD, causing many chronic cardiovascular complications as well as most of body Dr. Braverman not only told me that I should thank my lucky stars that I don't have Marfans, and that some people actually have real problems. I can't even say that he downplayed my health, he ignored it all. Treated me like medical attention seeker. Insisted meds and care be DC by all. Disappointed!
