He put my fractured femur together like a structural engineer. He thoroughly explained everything before and after surgery. He answered all of my questions. You can tell that he truly cares.

Dr Afsari helped me when a doctor messed up my knee replacement. Dr Afsari was the only one to help me.He is an excellent surgeon,he tells you straight up what needs to be done,and i like that. Have had several surgeries by him. I appreciate everything Dr Afsari has done. His staff is excellent also.

He must only be interested in surgical patients.
Was referred to Dr. Afsari by Dr. D. Hoover's office. (Dr. Hoover, (neuro) had operated on my back, 7/2022, for a slipped disc, (inserted a "Coflex device" between L-3, L-4 with great success & relief. I've had "hamstring tendonitis" that's been very painful & problematic for several months, now. When I saw Dr. Afsari he said it could be injected with a steroid, but would have to be scheduled & done in a sterile environment, under fluoroscopy & that his office would call me. Ok. But they never did! I even called them again, asking why, or why not I hadn't been called? (And I really thought that a referral from my neurosurgeon's office would be beneficial for my having another very positive experience). But I never received any more care after the initial consult. I was so disappointed, & still suffer with the issue. Guess my health issue wasn't a very profitable procedure for Dr. Afsari. Now, I'm going to try & get an appt. with a different orthopedic surgeon for help.

Positive results
Very pleased with pre-surgery visit, surgery results, and post-surgical visit. He explained everything in a way I could understand and I felt that my surgery and healing were in good hands.

Dr. Afsari is kind, compassionate and a most skillful Orthopaedic surgeon. He did beautiful work with my hip replacement! I would recommend him highly for his skill and “bedside” manner!

Dr Afsari fixed my ankle and prevented having a fusion. He saved me again 18 months later when he plated my humerus in a second horse accident. He is caring and extremely skilled. I wish he was still in California
