Professional and patient
I have been seeing Dr Apara for over a year and a six months now and he is absolutely the best. I had an occlusion in my right eye and had to get an Injection every month which eventualy went down to every six months. Dr Apara explains very calmly every time what he is doing that puts my anxiety at ease during the procedure so much that I would not give him up, even though I moved 200 miles away. I made the trip then and even now for follow up appointments.

Dr. A is super approachable and incredibly empathetic.He takes the time to explain your eye condition and calmly seats in front of you, at your same eye level and goes through the treatment plan step by step assuring that everything is going to be OK. He shows and teaches you what the digital images of your eye display.Dr.A seems to be super knowledgeable and confident in his med decisions. I've been his patient for 15 months and have no complaints. Ahh! He s funny too trying his Spanish words!

Exceptional Retina Specialist!!
Dr. Akintomide Apara is a brilliant, highly talented, and extremely personable retina specialist with a very capable and supportive office staff. He quickly identified and evaluated my son's retinal issues. Recognizing the severity of the eye condition, Dr. Apara performed a crucial preventative procedure that probably saved my son's eyesight. We are extremely grateful.
