Dr. Akili Debrady, MD

My mother made an appointment as a new patient to see Dr. DeBrady. Before she was scheduled to see the doctor her diabetes medication was going to run out. She and her pharmacist called the office to see if the doctor would refill her medication. However she just got a run around. A nurse called my mom got all her medication information and said she would call in her prescriptions. Sadly she never called them in to her pharmacy This practice is very unprofessional This incident has changed my mother’s decision to have Dr. DeBrady as her new physician. He was highly recommended. Hopefully they will reach out to my mother and make things right for an elderly new patient.

I came back to Debrady after returning to Philadelphia. This was disappointing calls go unanswered. I felt ill and for three weeks straight I called both directly to the doctor and to other lines and receive no response. I had to pay for urgent care. it is January 31, and I finally got through to an office member. I still haven’t heard from my PCP

A staff member was dismissive very aggressive and spoke as if she can’t do what the staff did before her. If you call leave a message no response and if you get one weeks later you have to deal with attitude. I don’t know what happened it use to be a great place I was a patient for over 12 years he was my son doctor and sister. She is also looking for a new doctor office. The doctor is good but the service to see him trash. I traveled to see him so disappointed
