Arrogant, condescending, always late.
I have now had 4 appointments with this oral surgeon. 2 w my daughter and we were kept waiting at least a half hour each time, and the same for me, with no explanation or apology. She is curt and cold. No bedside manner. She is alarmist and very difficult for me and my daughter, and we have totally different personalities, to communicate with. I asked her, 'Will you still be able to intervene if my problem resolves? Because I can;t get another appt for 2 weeks' and her only response was 'Well then I must be a good surgeon if you have to wait two weeks to see me.'!!! She was in with me and ready to do the surgery, and they gave me a paper to sign. She was impatient because I was actually going to read it while I signed. She sat down and sighed loudly. Then, as I was reading the 1-page thing to sign off on about my surgery, she went and did a consult with another patient and kept me waiting ten more minutes, already 40 minutes past my appointment time.

Dr Brown is very good
She is great ! She explained everything and works as a professional. I was very satisfied with her method . She even call 24 hours later to see if I have pain or need anything and even said I could call if necessary. That is very rare. I would recommend her to anyone. She is the BEST

Dishonest
Dr. Brown took on an extraction that was clearly out of her league, causing a tremendous amount of lasting pain. In keeping with the lack of integrity of her employer, Riverside Oral Surgery, Dr. Brown insisted on inserting bone graft that was not needed for my implant as my case fit none of the criteria for bone graft. I got a second opinion and learned that the bone graft was completely unnecessary as I had more than enough bone for an implant. At Riverside Oral Surgery, they tell everyone who wants an implant that bone graft (for extra $$$) is required. The secretary told me over the phone that bone graft is required for everyone who gets an implant. It's not just bone graft, at Riverside Oral Surgery they try to make you buy what you don't need. They say you need it and try to get you to sign an agreement to pay more than you have to for treatment. Dr. Brown and her employer cannot be trusted. ALWAYS get a second opinion before agreeing to any treatment plan Dr. Brown suggests.

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Brown
I was sent to Dr. Brown initially on an emergency basis and it was so exceedingly fortunate that she was the surgeon available that day. I marveled to more than one person that it's not often you find such a good doctor, period, let alone while having an emergency. Dr. Brown ended up removing all of my wisdom teeth a couple of weeks later as one of the medications I take required waiting. I am only on the second day after surgery but it seems to have gone exceptionally well. Dr. Brown was incredibly compassionate about my nervousness despite my trying to hide it and she answered all of my questions thoroughly. I was also extremely impressed with how knowledgeable she was about the other prescriptions I take. Most doctors are not as well-versed on one in particular, and she was completely on top of it. The office could be a bit more communicative, but I know everyone is doing their best and Dr. Brown is absolutely wonderful.

Dr. Akeyla Brown was absolutely AMAZING! I was highly recommended. I am terrified of Dentistry and oral surgery, which is beyond scary to me. Dr. Brown allowed me to explain my fears, my questions and was very patient professional and so sweet. It is my second day after surgery and I have not had one ounce of pain or any issues. If anyone is in need of an oral surgeon Dr Brown is your person!!! She is an brilliant oral surgeon!

No one like going to the dentist, especially an oral surgeon. Well I’d have to say, after she explained everything in detail. I was extremely nervous. But she was very professional, and made me feel better quickly. She was very considerate to my feelings. And even gave me a courtesy call. With her cell number. In case I had any concerns or questions. I would definitely recommend her. And go to her in the future. I just hope I don’t have to.

Dr.Brown is not only gorgeous, but extremely caring and very professional. She had to extract a tooth, which was painless, and then start the implant process. I went today for the second meeting, and she again shows her compassion. I will highly recommend her and her staff!! Your great Dr.Brown!! Hope you liked the pastries!

Thank you, Dr. Brown, for your great service. I came in for extraction and consultation for implants. Two months later I am completely finished. I have sent my entire bowling team to her and everyone is looking better already. She's quick, painless and has a great sense of humor. I recommend five stars.

Great experience. I took my thirteen-year-old daughter who can be a drama queen. Not only did the extraction go to plan but this doctor (a woman may I add) called the house later that evening to follow up. Who does that? I'm going in to get her to do my implants.
