Dr. Ajmal Hameed, MD

I have seen Dr. Hameed for 7 years. He is very competent and compassionate. He has a very calming manner and puts me at ease. I highly recommend him.

Agree with previous reviews. Felt like cattle. Staff is flakey, untrained, unprofessional, impersonal, going thru motions. They book 2 people for each 15 min block of time. This was my first visit with very complicated history of colon cancer, resection, allergies to anesthesia and meds. Had brought my CT Scans, med history files. Did not matter. I was just another medicare income source. Office shoulder to shoulder patients every 6 min in and out. I did not feel I could trust my health care to this group of people. Oh no. I was given wrong directions to even get to the office, was told I had an hr to speak to dr on Fri afternoon and had been scheduled as last patient to grant time to assess my med situation. Lackadaisical. Got there and 15 people all had the same appmt time with same dr. I was in disbelief. Staff said I would see a PA. I have history of cancer. Sr citizen. No family left. Are you kidding me?? I was told lies when I made my apptmt.. Office Env was bad also.

Not sure office staff knows what they are doing. Spoke with them three times in one day to make sure of the time and also that they had received referral from primary care Dr. Went to the appointment with abdominal pain and rectal bleeding and was refused to be seen because the referral from primary care dr. was incorrect. Any office who refuses to see a patient with severe symptoms needs to be sued.

Agree with last few reviews. He is overworked but yes I did feel like cattle going in and out of office having endoscopy and colonoscopies multiple a year with no difference. I have IBS too and he just told me to not eat salad. I don't eat much raw food with this condition. Says its stress. Not as half as stressed as I was 10 years ago. Just keeps doing procedures. Just feel he's going through the motions and maybe needs to think of retiring. Don't recommend.

If I could give him no stars I would. After an endoscopy and Colonoscopy in Sept 2020 and a second endoscopy Dec 2020. He tells me my food is not being digested, after months of severe pain and ongoing nausea, vomiting constipation and diarrhea. I thought finally there is an answer to my illness. Boy was I in for a surprise. His diagnosis was IBS and his recommendation was drink ginger ale and sent me on my way without even a follow up appt. Very disappointed.

Terrible. Stay away.

Disappointing, can’t help but feel as if hes just in it for the money, is often in and out and never patient contact is so limited. He literally pushed me off to his partner, he dismisses symptoms and makes you feel like you’re overreacting. You can find a much better doctor than him. Don’t waste your time nor money.

Extremely competent and intelligent doctor. I am grateful to have found him. He found serious issues when no other doctor could. By the way, his staff is awesome too!

Dr Hameed took excellent care of me when somehow got diverticulitis. Everything on google told me I was going to die, but Dr. Hameed chuckled and put my fears to rest. I trust this guy with me life!

Very courteous, knowledgable, and professional

Dr Hameed is very engaging and knowledgeable. He speaks basic to patients so that it's easy to understand what is going on with your GI issues, what steps he is going to take to give you relief and consistent follow up from his wonderful staff. Stacy was very helpful in assisting me with insurance questions.
