Dr. Ajeet Nagra, MD

Dr. Nagra was my hospitalist for several of my hospitalizations for infections resulting from a prior surgery. I was frustrated with my urologist because he was not even trying to help with getting to the heart of the problem. I felt trapped because doctors are hesitant to take on patients in the middle of a process. Dr. Nagra found me a new urologist, one of the best in our area. Hope is restored!Some people do no more than the minimum in their jobs, but not Dr. Nagra. He truly cares about people and works hard to do everything possible to help his patients. He listens extremely well and explains things in a way that gives one a clear understanding of the situation and what to do about it. After 69 years, I can honestly say I have never encountered a more caring and competent doctor.

I was in the Honor Health Deer Valley Hospital in Oct 2023 for a shoulder surgery. It became necessary for me to stay another night, he listened to what my concerns were and was amazing to take care of why I was worried. He made sure I was in good health before discharging me, so many doctors will discharge you even if you need to stay. I thank him tremendously as my recovery was so much easier due to his extra care, compassion is very important and respect...Dr Nagra will provide you with what we all expect in a doctor and more. Dr Nagra was hospitalist. He provided detailed information to both my husband and I, and also recommended a change in medication while he was treating me. It seems to be far better than meds I have been taking for years.

Dr. Nagra treated my husband while he was a patient at Honor Health Thompson Peak. He was so compassionate and spent lots of time with us explaining my husband's condition and answering all of our questions. I wish we could continue to see him, but I guess as a hospitalist that is not possible. Dr. Nagra's kindness left a lasting impression and I would wholeheartedly recommend him.

I was treated at this hospital for heat exhaustion and not my 2nd degree burns sustained on a hiking accident. Dr Ajeet Nagra discharged me on Sept 3 2022 without any place to go with my untreated burns. My burns turned into a 3rd degree burns and I was rushed to the ER of Valleywise Health on Sept 10 2022 where they treated me correctly. Due to the infection I had debridement and skin graft and stayed 9 days in the hospital. Dr Nagra has no knowledge about burns at all neither finding a burn specialist. If Nagra did his job I wont be in this situation. 5.5 % of my body surface was burned.
