Maybe instead of increasing the meds— check to see if women are getting their birth control first. Don’t diagnose a woman you’ve never met for more than 30 seconds with a mental disorder when clearly she’s just hormonal. 0/10, go back to med school.

Terrible doctor!
He would spend literally 15 seconds speaking to my daughter on an iPad carried by a nurse, then proceed to diagnose her based on this 15 second interaction, and then force strong psychotropic drugs that made her feel terrible. How can someone have a license to diagnose and treat a person by literally spending less than a minute with a patient on an iPad?? He is also rude and doesn’t listen to her concerns. If I could give him zero stars, I would. What a terrible experience for all of us when we/she needed the help of a competent physician. Shame on Genesis Behavioral Health for employing such a physician.

Neglectful
We basically have two doctors left in my city to deal with inpatient psych stays. He will literally have 45 second phone calls if you are doing telehealth, up to about 5 minutes if you are lucky. He always says “how are you doing? And what do we need to change?” Clearly, I don’t have that kind of knowledge or answers. There have been times I’ve been lack of sleep, bipolar disorder issues, and he refused to make any changes needed. He leaves people with a lot of uncertainty, and if you need his help in a critical time, you will most likely not get it. Very unhappy. I’ve known him for about four years now.

He diagnosed me based on 2 brief (less than 5 minute) telehealth calls. There was no discussion, no listening to me. His diagnosis was based on one incident in which I was coming out of anesthetic from a surgery and was hysterical. Now I have this diagnosis on my records, which is quite inaccurate.

Dr.Sharma is the worst psychiatrist I have ever seen.he told me I was faking it when I called and tried to get halo during a panic attack.he actually implied that I was a drug seeker and refused 2 look at my medical records that prove I have 30 years of documented severe anxiety and panic disorder diagnoses.he was extremely rude and condescending.all he does when u have an appointment with him is ask 2 questions- how r u and do u need refills- that's it!!I was crying and could hardly breathe when we were on the phone and his solution was 2 discharge me from his practice with absolutely no refills.every time he saw my family members in the psych ward his 1st thing was 2 take them off of their anxiety sleeping and pain medication.he is human filth.carma will put him in he'll where he belongs.he also put down Dr. Balogh 2 me and my sister and then he goes into practice with him

He diagnosed me with something I didn’t have. He called me a liar for having certain feelings. He but me on several medications. For a year and a half I spent most of the time on the couch or in bed crying, sleeping, and having anxiety attacks. I went to a new psychiatrist 7 months ago and am now only on one medication plus a back up if I can’t calm down during an attack. I have been attack free for 4 months. Don’t waste your time trying to talk with him. He’s rude and doesn’t take you seriously and tells you what you should do. My new doctor partners with me to discuss options and actually spends time with me to help me better my health and condition. She’s even scheduled me in her lunch hour twice to make sure I had the care I needed.
