This doctor was nice until I asked a question. I trusted and valued his opinion so I wanted to ask what I didn’t know. It was one question and I left this office crying because I don’t know what happened that made him become so rude. He shows that he doesn’t care and looks down on patients and patients families by how he talks to you.

He is never willing to talk to you about your child's needs he never explained to me anything about my son's condition, he always dismissed my questions and when I asked him what should I tell the school about my child's care he simply replied why does the school have to know?? (What?!?!?!) On the last visit he told me my son needed another eeg I told him it would have to be done at CHOA he proceed it to tell me oh never mind then!! Then he told me don't bring him back find another Dr.

I'm not convinced we just saw a doctor. We have seen him 4 times since January. Got nowhere. He complained and scolded me for having my son's EEG at CHOA (bc his EEG scheduling was too far out) when he is the one who sent the order and had no problem with it at the time. Today, he handed me off lab work results he has had since 7/14/17 and told me CHOA doctors would probably admit him with those results (never called about them) and dismissed us as patients. He acted annoyed by my son talking.

Dr. Khalid and his staff have been amazing in their care of my six year old special needs son over the past 4 years. Every appointment has been easy to schedule and Dr. Khalid took the time to answer questions and explain my sons treatment. The EEG technician (Krista I believe) has been wonderful as well. EEG's are not always easy with toddlers but she helped calm my son to get the best readings. Dr. Khalid has been a wonderful doctor to my son and I thank you!

I went with my goddaughter and her mother. He is the most dismissive doctor that I have ever met. He gets visibly frustrated when you have a question and he does not seem to want to elaborate. Since he seems to be the only pediatric neurologist in our county, he seems to be overworked. His staff is probably the same since they are rude and unprofessional. Especially his office manager. Please avoid at all costs. He should not be practicing medicine if he is so unconcerned about his patients.

He is not the doctor to see if your child has epilepsy that is difficult to treat...he will not refer the pt elsewhere.....My child had an epilepsy that was difficult to treat, the doctor charted the type of difficulty but never said anything to the parent....dr khalid should have referred my child out to a childrens hospital with a team. Doctors should realize when something is beyond their scope and not play God! Too bad nothing can be done about a doctor thats just a bad doctor :(
