So I’ve been a patient of Dr Charles for about two years now, at the point where we had been trying to conceive I tried telling her something isn’t right leading to us not being able to conceive, (I will note she had already done tests that were clear, but I still felt something wasn’t quite right) she seemed very dismissive of it because we had only been trying for 3 months…I gave it the benefit of the doubt because of the all clear previous results however at 6 months I went back and followed up to let her know I still felt something was off and she gave me medication and sent me on my way told me to try the medication for a few months and come back if no luck…no testing or further questioning. Well fast forward a year and a half I finally decided to go see a fertility specialist and based of the first appointment and our discussion he validated my feelings for having these concerns and is going to run even further testing to get down to the root of the problem. I am extremely frustrated with the care of Dr.Charles. I am pregnant with my first child and I am a high risk patient. All of my concerns have been ignored by her at every visit, which has led to me having to go to the emergency room. She is also very rude. The appointments are very rushed. She has done no research for my condition and just answers my questions with “I don’t know” . If you don’t know, you should figure it out, since you are a doctor . Not the doctor you want if you are expecting.

Dr. Charles inserted my first IUD and it was the easiest experience ever! I’ve never had children and have a chronic pelvic pain condition, so I braced myself for immense pain. However, she was so gentle and I barely felt anything. She listened to my concerns and was so compassionate and kind. Truly a top notch OBGYN!

All questions answered, diagnosis explained, staff very friendly and helpful.

If you are an older women (past child bearing age) I would not recommend her. Her questions were for much younger patients, not menopausal women. She was very nice, but not the OBGYN for me.

Unfortunately I had a similar experience as the other one star comments. From reading all the good ratings sounds like she is good if you're pregnant. She did not care about the issues I was going through; very dismissive and did not offer me any guidance or further investigate my symptoms on her own. After reading my records she clearly was not listening to me either. I found myself turning to the internet for answers and then to other health care professionals for diagnosis and treatment.

I MOVED HERE A YEAR AGO. IT WAS SO DIFFICULT LEAVING MY MEDICAL TEAM. FIRST, JESSICA COULDN'T BE MORE HELPFUL. SECOND, THE EXAM AND EXPERIENCE THAT I HAD WITH DR CHARLES WAS SO COMFORTABLE AND RELAXED I FELT TOTALLY AT EASE. THEY AREN'T IN MY INSURANCE NETWORK HOWEVER, I DON'T MIND PAYING THE EXTRA BECAUSE I GET SUCH GREAT CARE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER AND HER OFFICE.

I'm towards the end of my third pregnancy. Doctor Charles has been my OB throughout all three pregnancies. She was able to deliver my first but unfortunately not my second because he was born at midnight and it was not her on call night. Hopefully she will be able to deliver #3! She is very personable and friendly. She asks how my other kids are doing. She is level headed and listens to your questions and concerns. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an OB/GYN. I LOVE the office staff!

I've only been seen by Dr. Charles once, but I was very impressed with her knowledge, and even more impressed by her compassionate, kind bedside manner. I got a very good feeling of being safe under her care. When I mentioned her name to a labor and delivery nurse, I was told that she has an excellent reputation.

I am looking for a gynecologist and had an appointment with Dr. Charles this morning. I am older now, and past menopause, so I am looking for an efficient woman doctor who is sensitive to the health needs of aging women. Dr Charles is just right for me. She treated my concerns with friendliness and professionalism. Finding a new doctor after many years with another practitioner is unsettling. I feel now that I am again in good medical hands.

Had a problem and saw Dr. Charles for follow up. I found her very nice, respectful and knowledgeable. I had read other reviews here and found that Dr. Charles was a great listener and answered my questions and more. I would recommend her to anyone and I am very happy to have found her. The entire staff there is great and that can not be said for many offices.

I went to Dr. Charles for an IUD. After the implant, sex was very painful. About a month into having the IUD, it was pulled out during intercourse. Both of these outcomes are not typical when getting an IUD. After this, I found a new OBGYN. I wouldn't feel comfortable with Dr. Charles performing any procedure on me again nor would I have much faith in the efficacy of the procedure.
