Terrible staff . They do nit ask first any copay for months than hit you with a huge bill and laugh in your face about it as you are denied health care treatment. I asked for weeks for an office manger to call no calls. The billing department said I must speak to the doctor about the bill but the office will only let you see the doctor once you pay the bill. So for 238.00 in copay they failed to tell us about for months my wife can not get her treatment . Stay far away from this obvious money hungry doctor . I am now reporting him 5lto the insurance company, better business and the state medical board. He does not care about you or your health only your money .

Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis
If you have psoriasis, find another Rheumatologist using your dermatologist's recommendation. Although the Center's website has several references to psoriasis under psoriatic arthritis, the Dr. said he only treats the joints (found this out after having a severe allergic reaction to a change made with the biologic medication).

TERRIBLE DOCTOR
After having RA for approx 45 years - a diagnosis which has been reconfirned many times - Drs Borhman and Magid tried to tell me it was in remission and I had Polymyalgia Rheumatica INSTEAD, not RA! This decision was based on ONE blood test and exam done while I was on medication. They took me off my meds and caused me months of EXCRUCIATING pain so bad I couldn't dress myself!! Later, I was given a VECTRA test that confirmed RA! I wouldn't take a pet to either of these two. They don't know the first thing about rehuematology. RA doesn't go away after 45 years nor does it become another disease.

Horrible experience when a doctor has your blood work and asks, "What can I do for you today!?" He is condescending and arrogant. I saw another physician in this practice who did an evaluation and blood work done in Dec. 2020. She is no longer with the group. I tried for two months with no follow up. After reading the blood work & finding out I have celiac disease on my own, I finally get a virtual visit, and all he wants to do is trash his old partner & question her logic for running a celiac/gluten panel in the blood work. Well he is obviously not as experienced, skilled, or trained as well as she was. You can google search and find out why she ran this panel. Another one who doesn't read literature. Lucky you have Pharma and diagnostic tests to practice. Your a joke. NEJM or JAMA for starters and maybe Journal of Rheumatology, or Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases. What do they call the doctor who graduated last in their Medical School? "Doctor" He is horrible stay away!

Terrible, he can care less about the patient only about money! Doesn’t care to get to know patient, cant remember simple fact or even age of patient. Patient turnover is all that matters to him. It’s like a cattle call!

Dr Abdel- Megid is outstanding! He has treated me for Rheumatoid Arthritis for over eight years. His knowledge and diagnostic skills have kept me pain free and active. Equally impressive has been his patience and teaching ability to answer the multitude of question I have asked him over the years. I can not recommend him highly enough.

The doctor spent time with me and listened to my long list of aches and pains. He explained things to me in terms I could understand. I feel great about my recent diagnosis and that these doctors have a great treatment plan for me. It is a very busy office, and hard to get through on the phones, but now I can see why. Definitely worth the wait and definitely recommend.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Megid for over two years for RA and I’m very happy with him. He spends time with you, listens to your concerns and always wants you to feel better. I highly recommend him. He is very personable. I was going to an RA facility in a hospital and they could care less about you. Staff was very unfriendly and cold!!

Same experience as previous review: not mixing meds correctly, over prescribing prednisone, not reviewing my labs, misdiagnosing drug reactions. Don't ask questions - he'll tell you he doesn't have time to answer questions. If you even get to see this doctor (will usually send in a PA), you might get 2 or 3 minutes from him.

Dr Megid is a truly amazing doctor going to him is like getting treatment from brother. He has an excellent bedside manner, very personable, very knowledgeable, comforting. I love that he thinks outside the box and doesn't stop at test results to get to the root of the problem. He is very uplifting & helpful even during some very difficult painful times in my case.Without his help, I don't know where I would be today! You won't be sorry if you choose Dr. Megid He is an exceptional rheumatologist
