Dr. Ahmad Fora, MD

Very dismissive, won’t let you talk or advocate for yourself. Then when HE brings up cancer because it’s been well over 2 years, he gaslights you by saying it’s just anxiety. The last time I saw him he told me he wouldn’t be helping me anymore as he doesn’t know what to do with me. Visits are ALWAYS less then 10 minutes and you won’t get anytime to speak.

Every question I had, Dr. Fora would interrupt me and tell me it didn't matter. He wanted to get people in and out as fast as possible and didn't want to explain anything. I would not recommend anyone see him, and I would subtract stars in this rating if it was possible. Trios has been a nightmare to work with for billing. Partly because they can't seem to bill anything correctly. They are trying to double dip, by billing my insurance and me for the full amount. They even sent me a bill for double the correct amount and I have had to dispute 5 different claims with them. The billing department is completely inept. It's been a nightmare. Don't go to Trios.

Dr. Fora cared for me following my lumpectomy and radiation. He answered all of my questions and those of family members assisting in my care in terms we could understand. My type of breast cancer was high grade nuclear and estrogen positive. The standard follow-up treatment called for 5 years of an aromatase inhibitor. The first one we tried caused extreme joint pain due to my pre-existing rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. Fora listened to my concerns and changed to a different medication. The second medication also caused pain that was interfering with my quality of life. Dr. Fora explained that my type of cancer had a nominal rate of recurrence following the treatments I had already received. I appreciate his compassion and understanding of my specific needs and his willingness to alter treatment that allowed me a better quality of life.

3 doctors wanted me to see Doctor like Fora. His receptionist and nurse said he was perfect for me because blood cells off and very unusual symptoms. Fora said to me you shouldn't be here in a nice way and said I don't have a stomach ache so I don't have cancer. All I wanted is him to review and do blood test to see if have a disease or tumor or maybe even cancer. The same kind of thing happened when I had Uterine cancer a different doctor said nothing was wrong and didn't check me 2 years later they found. Unless you already have proof of cancer don't see him waist of time.

Horrible bed side manner

My care with Dr. Fora and his team has been exceptional. His compassion, knowledge and experience have made a very complicated diagnosis and treatment much easier to face.
