My Dad had his gallbladder removed by Dr. Abbass last year, and he had a very easy recovery. Dr. Abbass is well thought of and was highly recommended by every doctor I met and spoke with during the process of scheduling his surgery. I highly recommend him.

Dr Abbass did such a good job of removing my gallbladder when I was admitted to the hospital due to pain from having gallstones. I was able to recover succesfully and all my pain went away. I would recommend this surgeon to anybody else. Very smart and outstanding bedside manner

He made time to operate on my colon with short notice during Covid when I expressed frustration with my health situation and deadline of health insurance change looming. Dr. Abbass is a wonderful surgeon and person. His bed side manner is exceptional. He really goes the extra mile for his patients. He is knowledgeable and inspires great confidence in his patients. Other physicians also speak very highly of him. My emergency bowel obstruction surgery was very impressive. I healed quickly without a hitch. I highly recommend Dr. Abass.

Dr Abbass is simply amazing. He actually listens to his patients, cares, explains testing and surgical procedures in understandable terms, informs patient of what to expect after surgery, called the next day to check on me after surgery and was ALWAYS available for questions or concerns!! It was my first surgical procedure. He will be the only one that touches me for any future surgeries, and this is from a nurse that knows oodles of surgeons. Minimal scaring. He’s my top picking go to guy!!

Dr. Abou Abass was the on call physician when I needed to have my Gallbladder removed. Not only was he kind and compassionate, my surgery went without a hitch. He explained the surgery in detail and allowed me to ask questions . He checked on me the following day as well, he really cared about how I was doing. I have minimal scarring and post op pain was almost obsolete. Follow up in the clinic was quick and easy to schedule. If I ever needed general surgery again I would go back to him.

He was the covering physician on my brothers' case at Henry Ford West Bloomfield. My brother died because he did not get radiological studies and missed a perforated bowel. I wouldn't let him touch my toenail!
