Terrible experience
Took my teenager to see her. She was very cold, overstepped her boundaries and tried telling my child who was recently diagnosed with a chronic heart condition that it was all in her head. Very judgey. Did no tests, offered her meds yet tried talking her out of it and then questioned her on why she didn’t want them. Did not make either of us comfortable. Would not recommend

When I wanted to make an appointment with the GI doctor, I first spent the night searching for the best opinions. There was nothing free to doctors with the best opinions. We needed a visit very quickly we managed to make an appointment with the doctor Scheich. The visit went very well. The doctor listened and spent a lot of time with us. The child examined without any problems, she was kind and professional.

Several visits had the same run around, Dr. Scheich is a very forward doctor. Which is fine for older children and adults. Not for children. She can be very rude and she disregards anything that is said against her opinion. Daughter was not comfortable with her at most visits. My daughter felt as if she was being scolded anytime she told the doctor was what hurting or what she was feeling. After several tests, endoscopy, and more tests it was determined that my daughter was making herself sick and she needed to see a counselor because everything was in her head and she looked my kid right in the face and told her this. So apparently shes been stressing elf out and making herself sick since she was a baby...OK an 8yr old with a masterplan. Wow. My kid just wants to eat without having to run to the restroom without getting sick. Or look like she's 7 months pregnant because her belly is bloated so bad after eating ... I'm sure this Dr. Is right for somebody...but not for my daughter.

We waited so long, that we had to leave without being seen. There was absolutely no communication to update us on why she was running late or when she would see us, even when we inquired. They had us waiting for an hour in a room with other people coming in and out during COVID...unbelievable! After reading the other reviews about her incompetence, perhaps it worked out for the best!

Horrible experience! Waist of time. Thanks God we went to another doctor for second opinion. Very incompetent. Shouldn't work with children.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Scheich because she was complaining of a stomach ache on and off for several weeks. After waiting almost 2 hours after our scheduled appointment time, we were seen for about 30 minutes. Wasn't very warm toward us. She recommended a blood test to rule out celiac disease and a few similar problems. 3 weeks later I received the bill from our quick visit..$840 for initial visit and another $1700 from lab work. Nobody is worth $840 for 30 min! I am still in shock.

Dr. Scheich did a great job diagnosing and helping my daughter get relief from her reflux. She pushed us to do an endoscopy which was an excellent decision because they found that she had a hiatial hernia which was causing the discomfort. My only two complaints are that 1.The appointment scheduling is awful. I have to wait forever to get someone on the phone to make the appointment. And 2. She has a limited schedule that does not work with my (working mom) schedule.
