Dr. Adrianne Scruggs, MD

She seemed like a good doctor at my first visit although the people at the front desk were not really friendly. They did not even look up from what they were doing to say hello. They made me wait. At the end of the visit, it did not go so well, so I ended up looking for a new provider. I had follow-up questions about my lab work that were not answered until a week later in the portal, and when I had additional questions the doctor did not respond. Her staff weren't answering the phone. When I expressed my frustration, Scruggs wanted to know what I wanted to do when I stated I did not think she was a good fit for me. From the tone and words of her message in the portal, it seemed as though she had an attitude. I was thinking she is not going to make it in private practice treating patients like this. Now, I see she is coming out of private practice to work for Hermann Memoria

So many individuals gave rave reviews about the doctor then shortly changed their doctors. My mother needed her walker and prosthetic and she never followed up about either nor seeking vendors that had the necessary equipment in stock. One place had a backlog without knowledge of the timeframe. I went ahead and purchased the walker. Then was told her to follow up with Second Silhouette but no prescription was ever sent in. My honest opinion if you want a follow up - this doctor is not the place to get it. She will continue to take appointments and not follow through on business. Go somewhere else immediately.

Awesome doctor who really cares about the health of her patients

I went here for a few years. Loved Dr Scruggs but she has got to do something to improve her staff. Countless messages gone unanswered, lab results never given. You can’t reach anyone in the office, the lady that answers the phone is remote and will not help you. I moved out of state and even though I had an exam 6 months ago she refused to refill my antidepressant. I would recommend going somewhere else until she gets affiliated with a hospital network

Wait time was minimal. She is the only doctor that truly listened to, and understood my health concerns. She helped me where my other healthcare professionals did not. I recommend her to all that need true and reliable care.

Dr. Scruggs brings the word “ Trust” back into the patient- physician relationship. You are in very good hands under her care.

First visit- I knew immediately I was going to like her; she was very thorough, asked numerous questions and most importantly she asked me what I was looking to accomplish during the visit; then she listened... Absolutely great experience!!

From the first time I met her about 3 years ago, a referral from one of my doctors, my experience has been rewarding and the medical care expertise. Dr.Scruggs has a warm and caring personality, compassionate,concerned, direct and professional.I was saddened when she relocated, I kept inquiring, and earlier this year,I finally reconnected with her.What a joy and relief because you get a rapport with certain doctors and they become like family and some health issues are private and not easy to share with others.She communicates well,she understands and zones in when I'm overwhelmed with life. My husband was also a patient and when she learned of his death, she was deeply grieved and shared in my emotional distress because of their Dr.patient relationship. I could say a lot more but as you can see,she's all that and more to me and my family she also cared for my daughter.If I could give 10 stars I would.Her office in Pearland is a longer drive,but worth every mile.

Dr. Scruggs is a very thorough physician. She is warm, caring and competent. I HIGHY recommend her!

I have been Dr. Scrugg's patient for a good while. While she was in transition to her present practice I sought care with another physician once. YIKES! I checked EVERY week to see if her new office had opened. I'm VERY finicky when it comes to my doctors. My medcial care are all comprised from referrals of physician's I currently attend. She is attentive, encouraging, supportive and sensitively firm when it comes to pertinent issues regarding my health. I have become so confidently supported under her care. I can call the office for most EVERYRHING and know it will be handled affectively and with prioroity by her or Miranda. I drive from Katy to Pearland and I hate to drive :). I would reccommend her for so many reasons and I am so grateful to have her as my doctor. I'm medically better and informed because of her. I truly appeciate and applaud her!

I found Dr. Scruggs to be a strong medical practioner. She is attentive and displayed compassion for me as a patient. I think it would be nice to remember that these previous reviews were made during her tenure with the Methodist Group and may not reflect her in her current private practice.

Dr. Scruggs was my mom’s PCP. I love her bedside manner, patience and professionalism. Although she had other patients to see, at every visit she remained patient and appeared to listen attentively. I was planning to choose her as my primary care doctor but to my disappointment, she is no longer at the same facility. (Might be worth the drive). I highly recommend her!!!

Dr. Scruggs treated my husband (complex progressive neuromuscular disease) when his PCP was out on long term medical leave. Dr. Scruggs was a positive light during some very challenging days for us-including 2 hospitalizations in the med center. Dr. Scruggs and her staff were always cheerful and positive. Her follow-up was both prompt and compassionate and her bedside manner is wonderful. I will continue to refer patients to her and wish her the best.

Typically asks for patients to arrive at least 20 minutes early for ther appointment but will make patients wait 30 to 45 minutes after their scheduled appointment time to be seen. There seems to be no respect for patient time when scheduling appointments.

Hard to get and keep appointments. Established patient was rescheduled twice. Decided to leave this group due to changes in appointments that also interfere with my work as much as Dr. Scruggs's work.

Dr. Scruggs, I am the daughter of one of your patients, I'm active duty military and my mom is all i have. she recently informed me she had been in a car accident with an 18 wheeler, upon release of the hospital she was informed by the ER doc to consult her Primary Care, (You) and she was told via the phone, by 1 of your medical assistants that you do not see patients who had been involved in accidents. With no 1-1 guidance on how to proceed or urgent care appointment was made, QUALITY CARE????

Dr. Scruggs is very patient and listens to your concerns. She allows you a chance to make positive changes before prescribing medications. Her bedside manner is impeccable! I would definitely recommend her to others.
