Rude and condescending
We had to establish care with a new doctor due to our doctor retiring. I was excited as a Hispanic woman to find a Hispanic doctor for my child. Unfortunately, this provider was awful she made me cry. The whole appointment she body-shamed my 4yr old calling her overweight. Mind you my child is tall and also has been on steroids for asthma since the age of 2 so she is a bit on the higher end of the growth chart. Well, she did not care to listen, and let me tell you as someone who was body-shamed as a child by a doctor that trauma grows with you. I want to spare my child from that. For her being a pediatrician she is also very cold and non-engaging or maybe she just doesn’t like fat people. I had more of a connection to my 70-year-old AA pediatrician than to this woman. Which is a shame, I hope she can lead to being a good provider. She is a prime example of just because you’re smart doesn’t mean you should be a doctor.

Very happy with how well she listens and takes her time listening to all my concerns. One appointment might overlap with another, but notice she does not rush me out,. Always seems deeply concern and eager to help.
