I've had many visits with Dr. Varela, leading up to major sinus surgery and many follow-ups afterward. He operated on my entire sinus system from my nose, to my forehead and even took out my tonsils/adenoids while in there. I found Dr. Varela to be very competent and attentive, and addressed my questions and concerns, of which I had many. Allowing someone to put you under and then work inside your head for a few hours, takes a high level of trust. That said, I would trust Dr. Varela with my body for any future surgeries, if needed. He did not let me down. I honestly do not understand those two negative comments. They appear to have been given on the same day, by the same person (simplest) in an attempt to pad the review system. The bottom line is, I highly recommend Dr. Varela.

BE AWARE! The doctor could not identify the simplest infection in the ears and do not prescribe ANY treatment. After that, I suffered pain in my ears for 2 months until another doctor prescribed treatment. I paid $ 250 for a 10-minute visit. Do not recommend this doctor! Waste of money and time.

Dr. Varela gives each patient ample time and his careful consideration of medical symptoms and needs. He has the most up-to-date equipment I have ever seen in an ENT Physician's office and I appreciate him investing in that for his patients. He remembers me from even six months after my last appointment and refers back to what was happening then and how it compares to my present difficulties and symptoms. I am amazed he can do this, as he does have so many patients. I am always improved soon.
