During the pandemic I fell incredible ill and had been referred to several different doctors. After meeting with many doctors I was told I should see a rheumatologist. I did some research online and I found Dr. Peer. I have not regretted my decision of meeting with Dr. Peer he is a kind and considerate doctor with a great bedside manner. He has never dismissed any of my concerns instead he listens intently and takes in all I have to say. Unfortunately these days it seems it is incredibly hard to find doctors with his high standard of care and compassion. Dr. peer will not make you feel like a number should you ever be his patient. I have nothing but respect and appreciation for the work this incredible doctor does.

I have been seeing him for about a year. He is extremely caring. He takes the time to listen and talk through my issues, and tries to treat me as a whole, not just the reason I came.

Dr. Peer is extremely caring and spends his time listening to his patients. He takes all concerns seriously and seems to genuinely care and want to help. I might not like all of his answers, but I respect his judgment. He seems to take his responsibility seriously, which is a wonderful trait in a doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Peer after labs showed that I had 2-3 autoimmune diseases. When I saw Dr. Peer he ignored my labs and told me I didn't have any definitive disease, refused to treat me accordingly, and acted like my pain and other, clearly visible, signs were all in my mind. His front office was extremly rude and overcharged me for a visit. After giving me the run around for a refund, his office charged me for canceling appointments that I never canceled to recoup money! Then his office manager, Jennifer, posed as 3 different people in a ruse to prevent me from removing the charges. Eventually, I asked for my records (which were useless) as I was moving on to another doctor and his office manager acted like Dr. Peer was saying bye to me - ha! Maybe he's her 4th personality. My new dr immediately diagnosed me with 3 autoimmune illnesses and said it was all in my lab work and told me the signs were evident. I am so lucky to be under new care that's actually helping me live well.

AVOID THIS DOCTOR – Oct 23, 2019
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Peer?
Dr. Peer, in my experience, is a cut above the standard care policy that so many physicians adhere to, because he takes the time, if you want to know your patient; that’s what it takes, at least initially. He really listens, not just hears! He is compassionate in his understanding of what an individual is dealing with when we speak of the profound, life-altering effects of arthritis. As soon as I was diagnosed; he was proactive in starting treatment. Communication with his staff is exceptional.

He gave me medication without telling me that the side effects would cause me to loose my sperm and not be able to reproduce. Terrible and inconsiderate to play GOD like that with another person's life and ability to procreate. Side note, the medication didn't even help!

Front desk staff is rude and poorly trained. My mother got sick in the office, and instead of receiving help she was forced to leave. The front desk staff said she had children and refused to help and kicked her out the office. If you care about your patients is should reflect in all employees.

I originally called the clinic to make an appointment with Dr. Pegram, I wasn't able to and Dr. Peer was available and didn't require a referral so i went with him. I was in a lot of pain in my knee. I'm a little young to have arthritis but he explained my options thoroughly and I left not thinking this was something i would be struggling with for life. What i most appreciated was the fact that he offered pain relief while confirming his diagnosis with xrays. Overall great experience.
