Lacking Common Sense
My son went to Dr Winkes as his final pediatrician before adulthood. I echo the sentiments of another reviewer as she was stepping out the door while I was still asking questions and continued to walk off. Additionally, it is my understanding that she hasn't seen fit to recommend a dietician for my granddaughter who is clearly obese compared to her peers and has a family history of type2 diabetes. I would look elsewhere for a Peds doctor.

Dr Winkes made me feel confident in my granddaughters care. She always listened to our concerns and addressed them. I never felt rushed with her and you could tell she cared for her patient.

Considering I have made 3 calls in 2 days without a call back yet, I am not impressed. The first excuse came from an exasperated receptionist who said they were busy. On the third call another receptionist said she would "try" to catch Dr. Winkes. During the last appointment, Dr. Winkes tried to step out the door while I was asking questions. I don't recommend her as a doctor.
