Dr. Adel El-Ghazzawy, MD

I received a double hernia surgery from Dr El-Ghazzawy in October 2022. It was apparently a pretty bad hernia. Dr El-Ghazzawy was thorough and professional in explaining the extent of damage and his proposed procedure, and the surgery went well. Right after the surgery I did not leave a review because I thought that time is a better judge. Now it has been 2.5 years and I am happy to state that there have been NO problems with the hernia repairs, NO pain and no limitations on what I can do. I am 69 years old and very active in sports and still doing construction work. This was a good repair job from a skilled Doctor! Thank you doctor! I very much recommend this doctor if you have a hernia.

I had gallbladder removal in November 2022. My experience with Dr El-Ghazzawy was superb. He and the staff were extremely professional, competent and reassuring. The care I received was exemplary and I will go back if I ever need another surgery.

Ok, it wasn't fun exactly, but it wasn't nearly as much of a problem as I had anticipated. I went into the process nervous, but Dr. El-Ghazzawy and his staff did a great job explaining that an umbillical hernia op is a routine procedure. While there were a few days or rest and recovery required, I was able to get back to work much faster than I had anticipated. His office and the facility where the operation was performed was top notch, and the follow up visit was easy. Really would recommend this doctor if you are looking at any kind of hernia surgery.

This is my second hernia repair by Dr. Dr. Adel El-Ghazzawy, he performed a left side repair last year. The experience was better than expected. This summer it was determined I needed a repair on the right side. I didn’t hesitate to reach out to Dr. El-Ghazzawy. I am recovering well. I would recommend him to anyone in need of hernia repair.

Trying to find the words to express my gratitude for Dr. El-Ghazzaway is not easy. This man was literally a life saver for me and one whom I wish I would have chosen for a previous procedure I had done closer to home. Don’t make my same mistake. If you are in need of a hernia repair, an appendectomy, or any other “general” surgery, look no further as Dr. El-Ghazzaway is the BEST surgeon I could have asked/prayed for. His awareness, his concern, his abilities and his expert precautions are unmatched. Thirteen days post-op with his laparoscopic procedure has me feeling better than I did eight weeks post-op from a previous robotic surgery. No thank you, robot. Yes, please if ever needed, Dr El-Ghazzaway and laparoscopic for anything having to do with treating the abdominal area. I drove across the state to be under his expert care and would do the same again without thinking twice about it. Thank you for the timely treatment which eliminated major complications. You are a true hero!

I saw dr Ell-Ghazzawy some years back for a hernia repair and it could not have gone smoother! Fast forward to last month I had been to the ER for a stabbing side pain thought to be gallbladder but no one could find anything wrong there - i called and got right in and he immediately did the right testing/imaging and found a golfball size hernia on my abs that no one else seemed to find or look for! He is the best! - surgery went great, very professional, and this doctor always delivers !! Great customer care, great staff, and amazing communication! He is top notch and I wouldn't use anyone else for his area
