Completely awful
I have never felt so disrespected by anyone in my life. Never even got to see the doctor because his office staff was so awful they were rude to my face refused to honor my appointment and were smiling and laughing about it the entire time. I would not recommend going here every review I have read says that the doctor is great but his staff is terrible. He needs new staff cause they are absolutely awful!!!!! Do not go here!!!!

Great doctor, staff needs training.
I really liked Dr Afzal, great manner and very professional. Didn't want to but had to switch doctors because his staff had messed up all my referrals and several prescriptions. Hopefully they'll get more training.

Very happy with my treatment and care by Dr. Afzal. You are never rushed. I'm thrilled with his new staff additions - Kim, the brightest and kindest PA ever, and Yesenia, Front Desk Guru. The changes are fabulous and have already made a difference in my book.

Dr. Afzal is an AWESOME Doctor BUT that Medical Assistance Soshi is horrible & the Lady that answers the phone( she's pregnant i think or just FAT & the other Lady that sit's back behind the desk about 4feet tall & pretends like she's afraid everytime you go in there they ALL are horrible, i can NEVER get my Bloodpressure Medicine on time & or my Refills, the Doctor will ask the same day do i need Refill's & i tell him YESSS but as soon as i get to the Pharmacy NO Refill is there, then when you call back or try to go back in they will tell you the Doctor isn't there & low and behold you can hear him 4rm the back on the phone & Soshi won't come out & the Lady at the desk won't get up & go ask neither one to come out, sooo therefore you wait another week or two fr your Med's to be refilled, like i forestated the Doctor is AWESOME it's his ASSISTANT'S, that are the problems!!!

My brother had a massive stroke, a feeding tube and a tracheostomy. He was virtually paralyzed from the neck down. After 5 ½ weeks he had made his wishes clear to the family that he didn’t want to live this way. Dr. Afzal, with his arrogant demeanor decided that his opinion was more important than letting this man die in peace. He stated, “Fortunately, the family can’t decide the path of care for the patient”. His attitude was domineering and showed the classic god complex of an inferior doctor. AGAINST OUR WISHES, he prescribed total rehabilitation for my brother. For eight days, four times a day, he was moved by the rehab techs, raising his arms and legs and holding him upright. It was grotesque to watch. This for a man who couldn’t even hold up his own head. Finally, he was transferred to a hospital where a compassionate physician immediately prescribed hospice care. My brother died in peace the VERY NEXT DAY. I wouldn’t let my dog be treated by this uncaring excuse of a doctor.

Dr. Afzal is one of those rare doctors that cares. He lets you explain your issues & ASK questions! His nurses are awesome! He considers all factors. Kind, considerate & doesnt use the "band aid"approach. I don't mind waiting for quality service. It's never been a very long wait though.

Horrible patient service. I wanted to confirm my appointment time the day before and could not get a call back. Once i arrived for my appt on time i was filled out the paper work in ten mins. After an hour and 30 min delay i was taken to a treatment where i waited another 45 mins before being graced with his presence. He asked why my heart rate was somewhat elevated. It was only elevated because i was infuriated for waiting till 12 noon for a 930 appt. Wont happen again. Done with this doc

I believe dr afzal really cares about his patients. He seems to listen to me. I am usually very critical of doctors in general but Dr Afzal seems to be a very decent, kind person. I don’t feel rushed when I see him.

I would feel comfortable recommending Dr. Afzal to friends or family. . I think though the weak link at that office is the office staff and that they could use some customer service and procedural training or retraining and monitoring.
