Great doctor. Listened to my complaints and came up with a plan.

Last Saw Dr Slansky in Nov 2019 as a returning patient from prior year. Due to pandemic and being stable during pandemic I did not return until 2022 Dec when my tremor worsened a lot. Because they don’t answer their phones and 2 weeks went by with unreturned messages, I had to drive there to make an appt. Upon arrival i was told as an existing patient I have to wait longer for a new patient appt because 3 yrs , 2 of Covid passed. Stated Florida Blue Select out of network. I was left on hold multiple times and today on hold 48 mins and they disconnected me. They have 1 person checking patients in and out, ineffectively handling all calls which is why every message you leave goes to voicemail which again rarely gets returned or takes a week. There is no triage staff for each of the 4 neurologists that work there. Today the insurance person Rodney very kind, finally called me back and transferred me to scheduling. After 20 mins on hold she disconnected me. Avoid this practice.

This office is absolutely the worst! My mom was sent to Dr. Slansky from her GP after an an initial Parkinson’s diagnosis. I am her mpoa. I also was at their mercy knowing nothing about this disease. It’s been over 2 years now and we have finally found a new MDS Neurologist. Dr Slansky does nothing but prescribe. Absolutely no suggestions and I’m pretty convinced his staff could care less too. The worst is that they prescribed a known anti depression med for Parkinson’s for my mom. All of a sudden he wouldn’t refill it because he said we need a psychiatrist. Well, ok , but we can’t just stop this med out of the blue!! There’s months and months wait times to even see this other specialists! I feel he totally abandoned my mom with this. She needed to be weened off this not just stop! Fortunately, I found a geriatric Dr who would prescribe until we could get to a specialist. I cannot imagine what would have happened. 2 months ago, requesting her medical records. Nothing was sent.

Worked with me. Scheduled testing that I will have done this next week. Anxious to get fixed.

First time visitor today. Dr. Slansky was right on time for the appointment. He listened to me. Questioned me. Was very forthcoming with his thoughts and how we should proceed. I was very comfortable the entire time. I never felt rushed or pressured. At the end of the appointment he said “is there anything that we have not covered that you would like to discuss?”. Very pleased with my choice

Dr. Slansky was informative and patient. Explained everything in detail and answered all my questions.

Dr. Slanksy is an absolute nightmare! He is rude and abrupt. I am not sure he knows what he is talking about either. There are better neurologists out there. STAY AWAY!!!!!
