This man's arrogant and dismissive bedside manner is shameful. If you are an intelligent and sincere person, actively involved in your own health and want to be truly seen and heard in a compassionate setting, run, don't walk, to another cardiologist! Although undoubtedly a capable cardiologist, I felt talked down to and unheard in a cruel way.

Jim Hatch - Mobitz type 1 second degree AV block
I arrived twenty minutes early and was taken into the examining room fifteen minutes early. The nurse was efficient, knowledgeable, and pleasant. She took my vitals and administered an EKG in short order. Dr. Rowan saw me at 2:30pm right on schedule. He was familiar with my conditions, asked pertinent questions, and explained the extent of those conditions. I was extremely pleased with the appointment, and the fact Dr. Rowan addressed all of my concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Rowan's services.

Terribly disappointing and failed to establish trust, but it is clear from the start that trust is not what his patient care is about. Rather he immediately seeks to intimidate. He does not do his homework, he believe he does not need to be on time and then attempts to tell you all he knows, when what he does exhibits is how little he knows about you as a patient. The fact that he changes medications and then schedules a follow up 6 months in the future suggests that he is not paying attention to patient safety. His arrogance is a personality disorder that does not serve him well.

Although he seems knowledgable, this is a doctor with an attitude and authoritarian air. If you are looking for a doc who listens and works collaboratively search elsewhere. additionally, this man seemed more interested in the clock than taking the time to answer our questions. We have booked a followup with a different doctor
