I had a rough experience with my first reverse shoulder replacement by Dr. Money, resulting in extreme pain post-op and limited function. For my second surgery, Dr. Money used a custom 3-D-printed implant without prior experience or training. I experienced intense pain post-op, but Dr. misdiagnosed the cause. The implant dislodged after three months, leading to another surgery. An EMG test later discovered the root cause of the pain: a pinched nerve. Had the reason for the pain been investigated, perhaps the second surgery could have been avoided.

Dr. Money convinced me to approve a custom 3-D-printed implant for my reverse shoulder replacement. He failed to inform me that he had no prior experience installing the device. Any training? Of further concern was that his backup in surgery was only a product rep! I felt like I was his guinea pig. I regret my decision to have Dr. Money do what was my second surgery with him when the custom implant dislodged after only three months. As a result, I had to have another, more complicated, surgery. Only this time my surgeon was more experienced and transparent. Luckily, the outcome was immensely better.

Dr. Money thoroughly explained the process to me in detail about my pending surgery. He did not sugarcoat it, but told me the truth. I had the surgery and three months later. I’m doing great and progressing as I should be. Dr. Money was there to see the next day after surgery while I was in observation at the hospital and was there before 7 AM. Every time I meet with Dr. Money he is honest and spends the necessary time to answer all my questions. He is personal and genuinely concerned about his patients. He is a fantastic surgeon that I would highly recommend to anyone that needs expertise in his field.

I had total reverse shoulder replacement and besides being eye candy, he has a great bed side manner and seems to really care about his patients.
